Ok, so I have another "odd" question: How sound-proof are the rooms?? We were talking last night and if there are noisy people next door or noisy kids, how easy is it to hear what's going on in the next room? Thanks!!!

I think they are really quiet. I've never had any problems. If sound bothers you then maybe a small fan will help but I think it is OK.

Now if your question is if you all might disturb your neighbors then I'm not sure I can answer that one.

I always bring my little fan. When you are in the aft section, it can get really noisy, especially on disembarkation day. Third time for us in the aft section. I bring my fan with me anywhere I go now.

No, no upgrade. I have a suspicion that people who canceled a higher cat. reservation to book the Cat. 12 GTY didn't get too many upgrades! We don't mind, though. All that happened to us was that we moved from Deck 2 Aft to Deck 2 Forward (and lost the split bath). We like the inside rooms, and we really do like Deck 2, so all is well--and the refund came in very handy!

Nope...I just booked a GTY 12 when they cut the rates..and I got what I booked . Which is fine by me .

You are very lucky. I just back back from the store and spent 20 minutes trying to find a place to park (I mean a place where "I" can park.) My DH always comments that I am the only person he knows with three mirrors, a backup camera and a thing that beeps if you get to close to something who can still hit things. He also likes my famous 12-15 point turns.

FYI: the only thing I have ever hit was DD car in our driveway. I backed in to the car and still couldn't see it out of any of the mirrors. I should mention, my Excursion was full of her teenage friends when I hit her car in the driveway.

Now you make me feel good. I've done 2 hit and runs in my own driveway 1 year apart in August (this past Aug). I thought I was so alone in this catagory. First was DD6 first day of school and she was not going to be late and 5 minutes before we had to leave to make that happen she was singing "Rudolf the Red Nose Raindeer" in her panties only. And then this year was about 6 weeks post partum (sleep depervation time) only about 1 month from getting the 2 vehicles fixed from the first wreck, I backed up the Suburban into DH's work car. I thought he was going to kill me but I said I felt sorry for the repair man, he needed money LOL
