Now it is really time for me to do this. The alarm will go off at 6AM whether I want it to or not. :scared:

Congrats, Brack!
Congrats fellow cruisers/DISers for making AT LEAST 15,000 posts before the cruise! We'll obviously make a whole lot more!

Tell him he will be the one looking silly and out of place pirate:

We don't dress for Pirate Night either. We may wear the bandannas, but that's it.

I can't believe I not only MISSED 1,000 I MISSED 15,000 pirate:

:headache:

:guilty:

:sad2:

:sad1:
Don't feel bad, Stacy, I missed them too! I'm playing nurse to my sick DDIL, and trying to get ready to go to work tomorrow. It' been a week since I was in my office, so I really don't think I want to see what's piled up on my desk! At least my boss was out of the office all week too.

I talked to our TA and the cruise docs should be here tomorrow or Tuesday! :cool1: Jennifer is so anxious she is breaking out the luggage tonight. I went and bought us a new camcorder for the trip as our old bulky one was not the easiest to carry around and we didn't get to capture some of the magical moments :wizard: on previous trips.

Mine goes off at 5:30. Even without the alarm, I wake up at that time every day. It really gets annoying on the weekends! Of course, I'm ready to go to bed at 10 PM most nights--sometimes I'm already sleeping on the sofa and Jim has to get me up to go to sleep.

:confused3 Where did everyone go only 70 post 'til the next pirate:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Let's see--I got dumped from the board then my internet connection timed out because the train went by. But I'm back now, at least for a few minutes. It's finally quiet here, everyone but Jim and me is asleep, including almost all of the menagerie. The chincilla is running in his wheel, which for some reason has a bell attached to it so it makes a lot of noise. As far as I can tell, the dogs and cats are all sleeping.

We're still waiting for our docs too. I still have to climb into my "electronic stuff" closet and get out my camcorder. I forgot it when I went on my B2B in 2005! I got all the way to Pop Century for the night before the cruise and realized that the camcorder was sitting safely in it's case--on top of my bed:headache:. So no video from that trip except what I was able to capture on my Palm Pilot! I did have the presence of mind to hand the Palm Pilot to Jim when I was chosen to be in the Flamingo Show at Ardastra Gardens in Nassau. I had dreamed of doing that since the first time I went to the 1963/64 World's Fair in New York and saw it in the original version of "If You Had Wings".

The more I look at the activities in the Oceaneers Lab the more I realise the boys are not going to want to do anything with me, I want to do the Mickey 200 with them but I am sure they won't want to leave their 'new' friends to come hang out with mom... The love going to bingo with us here sometimes so I hope they will want to play with us onboard...:surfweb: :surfweb:

Stacy, try Vanicream on your ankle. It is available at psico.com (if they ****this, pm me and I'll give you the site) and recently some larger Walgreen's. I suffered from excema until I found a wonderful doctor who found the cause instead of just treating the symptoms. Vanicream always works for me!

 Beth, glad you get to hang out but I think everyone left us...:confused3
I'm not going to be around much longer either! That 5:30 alarm comes very quickly. Jim is watching some English murder movie, but it isn't holding my interest. It's on Encore, and it just doesn't seem to make any sense at all.

I'm sure your sons will have a blast! It will help that they have each other, but all the kids seem to be having a good time on the few occasions when we've seen them onboard. Because we hang out mainly in the "adults only" areas, we very rarely see kids while we're on board.

Well we were even closer to our camera and still couldn't get it. On our cruise last year, our digital camera broke on day one so we were already bummed, but then we did something really dumb. As soon as we had crossed the gangplank and entered the ship lobby, we remembered where we had left our camcorder...between the driver and the passenger seat in the van. With all of the trouble we had gone through with the multiple room keys (another painful tale) we were not about to have to try and clear through it all again to go out and try to get the camera. We just said "Oh well, we'll just have to book another cruise so that we can take some video then". :thumbsup2 Like we weren't going to rebook anyway. :rotfl2:

Well I'm going to sign off for the evening as I have a mountain of work waiting for me after having been in training last week. Good night everyone! :cloud9:

Wendy and Jasmine, have fun and stay safe.

Stacy, I am willing to give my cell number. We are leaving the morning before the cruise, so I will not be able to DIS from late 12/6 until 12/17.

I should go to bed too..... I have a long day tomorrow and again won't be able to eat lunch because I have to got to school and watch the boys thanksgiving play during my lunch hour... They have been practicing their little hearts out and I hope they don't get stage fright...:wizard:

I'm out of here, too. I just can't stay awake any more!

Have a good night, everybody!

Beth

I was taking care of some Real Life business :sad2: I got the suitcases out of the attic and I packed my stuff that I want to go to Florida with DH on Tuesday.. THEN he reminded me, we have a Fancy Smancy brunch to go to the day Before the cruise.. so I need a dress :headache: I guess I will need to carry on a bag when we Fly down for the cruise with my dress.. Or buy a new one, which might be better anyway :rolleyes1

I am on call tomorrow so won't know til 11am if I have to be in work at 12pm and if I do work I am working 12 - 4.. Odd hours for me, normally I'm 10 - 2.. Oh well.. more sleep for me :thumbsup2

I need to make a few phone calls in the morning that I haven't been able to make since I worked all week last week..

Since no one is here I will work on my scrapbook :upsidedow
