You made me just think of back when we were kids and we'd try to make the most disgusting concoctions we could think of and then dare each other to drink them. :lmao:

I double dog dare you !!!! :lmao:

OMG I HATE that channel...... and golden girls, my friend is always watching that channel when I go over and she absolutely loves golden girls, I always tell her "and were friends".... well kinda have to be now because she is married to my cousin...:rotfl: :rotfl:

:rolleyes1 I love Golden Girls. My Mom even bought me one of the seasons on DVD for Christmas one year. :lmao: I've kinda moved off it now though since I've seen them all at least 3 times. I've been watching Reba and Still Standing on Lifetime lately though. :thumbsup2

Can you guys believe it's less than 3 weeks? :cheer2:

I haven't even started on my skirt yet. :scared: I'm thinking next weekend since I'll have so much time with the Thanksgiving break. Things were just too crazy this past week to even think of doing more than catching up this weekend on laundry, trash, and getting the kitchen cleaned up.

I think we're still going to try to get away with one big suitcase and a suitbag for the both of us. And our carryons, of course. I should probably start organizing the suitcase to see if this plan will actually work. So far I've just been throwing things into it as I remember them.

Spirit Airlines charges $5 per bag in advance and $10 per bag at the check-in counter.. :sad2: We won't have any bags going down, if, DH drives down.. But... coming back we will need to check-in at least 1 suitcase unless DH decides to drive back down after the cruise sometime.. We normally don't travel too much other then to Disney.. I think if we made a trip here and there we could get away with Duffle Bags

I love Reba and Still standing :rotfl2:

Alrighty, I need to go.. Have a Wonderful day and I'll see some of you later :surfweb:

Well we're all packed up for Disneyland Paris. I just need to get some CDs together, and DD needs to figure out which DVDs she wants for the drive.

I found the Spanx website, and I think I'll order a bodysuit. Couldn't hurt.:confused3

OMG I just realised that I won't be able to DIS again.... We are going to my Aunt's that doesn't have internet for Turkey Day and will be gone Wednesday- Saturday :headache:

Wow, this bad. I mystery shopped for a few years and did lots of restaurants, and know what high standards the management expects, and now I expect. We also go to mgmt to tell of excpetional service.

I wrote a training program for servers about 15 years ago and it TOTALLY ruined me!! I know exactly what they're supposed to be doing!

Well, today we tried a new place for brunch...it was loud and the booth was small, which put me in a bad mood to start. Service was waaaay slower than it should've been, given the (simple) menu and lack of crowd...food was ok, but not hot, just warm, and we had to stalk her to get more coffee...ok, bad enough. And the tip reflected it...But we were driving away and she's out of the restaurant chasing us. "You didn't leave the signed copy of the credit receipt!" Yes, I did, I just took my copy. So I'm standing outside the van (in the freezing cold), searching my purse....I follow her back in and she rushes back, I found it, it was on the floor... So, as far as everyone who witnessed that goes, we tried to stiff her and she had to chase us for the payment!! We won't be going back. :sad2:

Ok, so I just had to post this: party: :bday: party: Today is Mickey and Minnie's official Birthday!!! They are 79 years old!!! Today in 1928 is when Steamboat Willie came out!! Soooo.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICKEY AND MINNIE!!!!! :woohoo: :yay:

Aww, happy birthday rodents!! ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo :cake:

OK, I Did it... I designed the Back of my shirt.. What do you all think??? Now, be gentle, I am NOT a crafty person, except when it comes to Scrap Booking... I decided Not to use our Logo on my shirt, this way in September I can wear my shirt again.. Not sure if I will add to the front.. Probably.. :rotfl: In the picture it is on the Box I used to keep it stretched... Oh and ... Ya' Think you'll recognize me now?

Cool. I love the swirlies, kinda neo-Celtic. :thumbsup2

So, you know you've been spending too much time on the DIS when you start having dreams that involve people you've never met. JoAnne - I dreamed you didn't know what snow angels were and we were all trying to explain it to you. :confused3

And I dreamed again that I'd missed the 3pm DIS meet by getting distracted on the ship.

LOL, I had a trip dream last night too, but it was peopled with friends from my "other" board, my mom's group, and only the ones I've actually met!

So if anyone is out there on early dining who we can connect reservations with let me know and then I need to know how to link!

there is 4 of us - 2 adults (me and DH) and 2 kids - DS 10 and DD 12

We actually requested our own table. Don't know if we'll get it, but it was the TA's suggestion. Ds can get overwhelmed by too much activity (he has sensory processing difficulties, if anyone knows what that means--too much stimulation can leave him ready to melt down), and having to keep it together for strangers would be stressful. Really, what I want is something by a wall, or a quiet location. So we're planning on being anti-social at meal times. I think I'll go to the "change dining" desk or whatever and try to have a word with them about why we asked for a quiet space. It's not the sort of thing for which we have a medical letter, not so easy to quantify.

Girls are funny aren't they?... But she already told me a year ago that I'm a "failure as a parent" so the bar's been set pretty low for me. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: In fact I use that against her whenever she argues with me, I just say "well Jasmine you know I'm a failure as a parent!:confused3

Oh this is funny. Now. I'm sure it wasn't at the time. I once had a student tell me "I wanted to be a teacher--until I met you." Ouch. Manipulative little wench. I can laugh now!

The more stories I hear about girls... The happier I get about having a Boy :rolleyes1

I have told ds a number of times "I'm glad you were born first b/c boys are easier than girls!" He's rather proud of that! Yes, I hate girl shenanigans too. Boys are so much more--direct.

Ok, still got some catching up to do...

Stacy - Someone just back from the pin cruise on the main board said they announced they won't be doing a pin cruise next year. :sad2:

and I should say that the program we are registered with is the actual "private school" per say but we are a satelite classroom at our home and parents are "volunteers" for the school. If that makes any sense.

Wow, that is so much more complicated than in GA. When I homeschooled here, I only had to send intent to homeschool and attendance once a month. That's all they are allowed to get in GA. I think we have it easy. This new public school at home is another thing. Not sure I like it much.

We are staying to eat dinner with the astronaut. I thought the traffic will be awful after the launch so we might as well chill out and maybe learn something. Then, we will be heading back to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Hi Beth
glad you got your cable fixed....:surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:
My mom went to store this morning and she said it was a madhouse:scared1:
The store was awful. It was packed with people, and it's not my usual place to shop, but I had $60 worth of gift cards, so I decided to use them up now. We did get everything we wanted, and a lot of it was on sale, so it was an afternoon well spent.

Now I'm going to relax for a few minutes and start cooking dinner. This is my weekend to cook!

Beth

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: Oh my word! Where is the tag fairy! :lmao: :lmao:

:confused3 I just noticed that even after over 10,000 posts you do not have a tag

It's not like you've never said anything not tag worthy either.
:lmao:
