Wow, this bad. I mystery shopped for a few years and did lots of restaurants, and know what high standards the management expects, and now I expect. We also go to mgmt to tell of excpetional service.
I wrote a training program for servers about 15 years ago and it TOTALLY ruined me!! I know exactly what they're supposed to be doing!
Well, today we tried a new place for brunch...it was loud and the booth was small, which put me in a bad mood to start. Service was waaaay slower than it should've been, given the (simple) menu and lack of crowd...food was ok, but not hot, just warm, and we had to stalk her to get more coffee...ok, bad enough. And the tip reflected it...But we were driving away and she's out of the restaurant chasing us. "You didn't leave the signed copy of the credit receipt!" Yes, I did, I just took my copy. So I'm standing outside the van (in the freezing cold), searching my purse....I follow her back in and she rushes back, I found it, it was on the floor... So, as far as everyone who witnessed that goes, we tried to stiff her and she had to chase us for the payment!!

We won't be going back.
Ok, so I just had to post this:
Today is Mickey and Minnie's official Birthday!!! They are 79 years old!!! Today in 1928 is when Steamboat Willie came out!! Soooo.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICKEY AND MINNIE!!!!!
Aww, happy birthday rodents!!
OK, I Did it... I designed the Back of my shirt.. What do you all think??? Now, be gentle, I am NOT a crafty person, except when it comes to Scrap Booking... I decided Not to use our Logo on my shirt, this way in September I can wear my shirt again.. Not sure if I will add to the front.. Probably..

In the picture it is on the Box I used to keep it stretched... Oh and ... Ya' Think you'll recognize me now?
Cool. I love the swirlies, kinda neo-Celtic.
So, you know you've been spending too much time on the DIS when you start having dreams that involve people you've never met. JoAnne - I dreamed you didn't know what snow angels were and we were all trying to explain it to you.
And I dreamed again that I'd missed the 3pm DIS meet by getting distracted on the ship.
LOL, I had a trip dream last night too, but it was peopled with friends from my "other" board, my mom's group, and only the ones I've actually met!
So if anyone is out there on early dining who we can connect reservations with let me know and then I need to know how to link!
there is 4 of us - 2 adults (me and DH) and 2 kids - DS 10 and DD 12
We actually requested our own table. Don't know if we'll get it, but it was the TA's suggestion. Ds can get overwhelmed by too much activity (he has sensory processing difficulties, if anyone knows what that means--too much stimulation can leave him ready to melt down), and having to keep it together for strangers would be stressful. Really, what I want is something by a wall, or a quiet location. So we're planning on being anti-social at meal times. I think I'll go to the "change dining" desk or whatever and try to have a word with them about why we asked for a quiet space. It's not the sort of thing for which we have a medical letter, not so easy to quantify.
Girls are funny aren't they?... But she already told me a year ago that I'm a "failure as a parent" so the bar's been set pretty low for me.

In fact I use that against her whenever she argues with me, I just say "well Jasmine you
know I'm a failure as a parent!
Oh this is funny.
Now. I'm sure it wasn't at the time. I once had a student tell me "I wanted to be a teacher--until I met
you." Ouch. Manipulative little wench. I can laugh
now!
The more stories I hear about girls... The happier I get about having a Boy
I have told ds a number of times "I'm glad you were born first b/c boys are easier than girls!" He's rather proud of that! Yes, I hate girl shenanigans too. Boys are so much more--direct.
Ok, still got some catching up to do...
