They make differant "tiers" of spanx. I am a spanx expert haha. They make ones that they sell at neiman marcus that feel more like a pair of bike shorts. They last forever and wont snag. I cant stand nylons because they are hot and never stay in place. I havent had a problem with my spanx. They were expensive, but will take you down a dress size.

:thumbsup2 Thank you Emi! That was the answer I was looking for. We are in TX. So, we have NM everywhere!

Someohow I missed 2 full pages of posts before :confused3

I wasn't online at the time, but Bill told me about the Spanx discussion. . .

I may need one of them Spanx. :lmao: I bought my formal dress the other day and I need "something" to suck in my mid-section. Where would I find one? I have "officially" gone off my vegetarian diet. My doctor said it was not good for my health. I am still on the B12 shots, but need to just eat a healthy "balanced" diet and exercise. However, DS2 is just not cooperating at the gym. :sad2: I had to run around the basketball court in circles last week with DS2 in middle playing around while DD5 and DS7 were in the kid's area. So, there may be more of me on the cruise than anticipated. :sad2: But, at least I know my Bill still loves me and that is truly all that matters. He has been a GREAT support system through these past forty pounds! :goodvibes

Congrats on the weight lose! We can all live in up in 3.5 weeks!popcorn::

The Winter Garden one is.. Lowes, Super Target, Mc Donalds, Jo Ann's crafts, Barns and Noble, Dress Barn, Home Goods, and whole bunch of more stores.. I was drooling over the "Coming Soon" signs..

I would be drooling too...I live in Lutz (north tampa) and would kill for a barnes and noble!

:goodvibes Thank you Emi! But, I do have a ways to go. Every bit helps at this point.

Bill still hasn't called me to tell me he made it safely. I hope all is well. I need to call him. Also, It is feeding time at the zoo over here.

So, I am signing off for now. Later y'all!

Come to Jersey, we have a shopping center every block...it's nuts...and every one has a Chinese or Italian Restaurant...then there ate the malls. They just expanded the one by me. How many stores does Jersey really need?? :confused3

So did you just get some?? I just spoke to a Reservationist and she said if there is only 2 adults then we'll have to wait til the ship.

As soon as we got on the ship at the port we split up. Hubby took the kids and I went and booked our reservations. At the place where palo was accepting reservations there was plenty of times open and no wait in line, at the spa there was a little wait but still plenty of time slots left. We cruised the week after Thanksgiving last time, so the time frame is kind of the same. We got on the ship around 1:30.

I hope this helps you plan!

My dad lives in Manhatten, so i have to do all of my shopping when Im there. So yup, I know all about New Jersey the land of a 1000 malls.

The way i talk about FL, you would think i live in the middle of nowhere!

I don't think I "officially" welcomed you . . .

:welcome: thebarley7!

 Does 7 mean you are a family of seven? (Just curious)

Hi Jennifer,

Yes, there are 7 of us. My husband and I, and two sons ages 22 and 11, and three daughters ages 20, 15, and 8. (and yes, they are all both of ours!)

Last year Make a Wish sent my husband and I and the 3 youngest on the 4 night Wonder. This year for the first time ever we can afford it so we are all going! Arranged it around 4 work schedules and 2 college schedules but we did it - yippee!

Thanks for the welcome :flower3:

that was for dinner. I don't even know if they were offering the brunch on the 4 nighter.

Ok, well brunch has only 3 seatings on the 7 nite, and it is really difficult to get. That is what most ppl are trying to get. I was lucky and snagged on the other day, when someone got a private room. I am hoping to get dinner ressies on board. And yes, on the 4 day, the at sea day should have had brunch.

Since my two oldest kids are 20 and 22, that made us have 4 adults, so I did snag brunch reservations on Sunday, and Dinner on Tuesday. My hubby and the two oldest are doing the 12 metre regatta on Tuesday which ends at noon, time to relax, then off to a fancy dinner. I hope it is a nice treat for my kids. I know I'll enjoy it :)

Welcome!

Looks like you'll have a teen on this trip - I have two who will probably be hanging out in the Stack :cool1:

Hi Cindy,

I do have a daughter who is 15 that wants to hang out at the stack again. I did find that the kids there seemed to be so much more mature than her, I'm not sure where she will fit in. BTW, we homeschool too. Been doing it now for 18 years! Whew...:teacher:

Cool! We've homeschooled since the beginning - this is our 11th year. There are some other homeschool families on this cruise as well.

I think I know you :) I live in SW Florida, too! One of my best friends is Becky - she has 4 boys. Is she possibly relative? Some people like to remain anonymous on message boards, but I'll ask anyway - is your first name Donna?

If not, I guess I just look stupid right now - sadly it won't the be the first time :lmao:

I have no idea, I have never done it. We did a 3 day for the first time in August, and they didn't have brunch. We had dessert at Palo's our last nite on the cruise. The souffle was AWESOME!!
