We spent the afternoon and evening painting and laying sticking tiles down. Hopefully we will get that project finished tomorrow.

Ok, so tell me how to print this. :confused3 :surfweb: :confused3

So... here's how I'd do it. I'm not sure if there's an easier way. But right click on the image and hit "Save as"... then save it to your computer somewhere... desktop, my documents, doesn't really matter where.

Then open Microsoft Word and click Insert - Picture - From file. Then browse till you find where you saved the picture and double click on the file name. Then you can print it like a regular word document :yay:

Wendy... are you going right from Paris to DCL? Or do you have a stop somewhere?

We're driving down to Paris. It's 3 hrs by car, so we're going to leave around noon on the day before Thanksgiving, and that should give us at least a couple hours in the Parks that day. We've got reservations for 2 nights, which means we have 3 days of Park tickets. Wednesday is a work day for me, but I should be able to get out of there early.

We'll get back late Friday night and will have the weekend at home to work on getting ready for December's trip.:thumbsup2

Hey, does anyone here watch Boston Legal? Two weeks ago the show wasn't on because of news program, but the one that we recorded last week, was the one after the one that was supposed to be on. SO, they didn't reshow the episode they pulled, when they were supposed to.

Did anyone else notice this??

I love Boston Legal! But of course we're like half a season behind you guys here.

Oh, I just noticed your enhanced sig!! :rotfl:

Some nights just getting the dishwasher loaded is too much work...

Luckily for me, one day Jasmine complained that she "always has to empty the dishwasher." So I said, "okay from now on that's your job."

Even though her job is to empty the dishwasher, she always loads any dirty dishes after she empties it. She's such a sweetie! :cutie:

I tried to get into when it first came out because of William Shatner but could not do it. :confused3

I'd never watched Boston Legal back in the states, but decided to order it on Netflix just for the heck of it. The first few episodes didn't impress me much. But after that you start to understand the tempo of the show and it's hilarious!:happytv:

I have a question. On our first cruise it seems like we had everyone in our family wear something around their neck that held their KTTW card. But, then again, I don't remember always wearing them. I guess I probably used pockets. My sons say they remember wearing theirs. So, my question is...does Disney provide sometime of holder, or did I bring my own?

If you'd asked that question yesterday we all would've told you that DCL provides lanyards to Castaway Club members upon check-in. Well apparently they stopped that as of 4 November. You can purchase DCL lanyards onboard that have a ziploc pouch to carry the KTTW card. I believe they were $8 last summer.

However I have an idea for another option!

I just checked at lanyardsnow.com and we can buy 3/4 inch cotton lanyards with a swivel hook and vertical plastic KTTW holders for about $3.00 each. This would include a 1 color imprint on the lanyard.

They are sold in units of 100. If anyone is interested in doing the lanyards let me know and I'll be happy to order them, and you can pay me onboard. I was thinking a lime green lanyard with Blue letters. If we use "DIS is How We Do it!!" they will be generic enough for future trips. Or we could do a specific one like "DISing on the Magic, Dec 8 2007"

It looks like there is the option to upload a font for them to use, but I'm not sure if there's an extra cost for that.

Let me know what everyone thinks!!

Wendy

Did I get them? pirate: I FINALLY figured out the whole pirate thing earlier today and was hoping to snag one or two. I have been totally clueless ever since joining this forum, never understanding it :confused3

Yep you got 2 pirates since it was 11,500! Congratulations!!

Okay, count us in! I actually found two Passporter ones I bought and that my sons apparently used on our first cruise. They are big and more bulky than the ones you have mentioned. When I showed them to my boys, they kind of groaned, like "you're really not going to make us wear those are you?"

They're older now and will most likely use their pockets - still it would be nice for when they head to the pool and don't have a pocket to use.

We wear pin lanyards when we go to Disney - do you think the holder you mentioned can be removed from the lanyard and attached to another? I vote for "DIS is How We Do It!" That way we can use them on future cruises :thumbsup2

We will need 4 of them. I'm going to try to go to the cruise meet - 3pm, right? I can't remember where?

Okay, DD just turned 2 and we are beginning to work on the potty training thing...obviously, she won't be potty trained by the time we sail.

I am aware that there is a no swim diaper rule in the pools, but in the Mickey's Pool Area, is there a splash pool for little ones? (I recall reading that somewhere, I just can't seem to find it.) I would hate to make DD watch all the kids having fun in the pool (we have a pool at home and she LOVES it) and not have her be able to have fun too!

Also, for the record, we went on a Celebrity cruise a couple years back and there was a woman who kept bringing her diaper-clad kid in the pool and hot tub (!) :scared1: and I said something to her, she blew me off....later on that week, half the ship got sick...I hate it when people don't follow the rules!

I bought one of the passporter ones for each of our 3 cabins. I think those will be handy ashore, but not for everyday onboard.

Yes, you can just take the holder off of one lanyard and put on another. My DD did that on the pin trading nights last cruise.

Yes one of Mickey's ears at the Mickey pool is for the little ones who aren't potty trained. It has sprinklers that run constantly. After the next drydock the Magic will get a toddler area next to the Mickey slide, like the Wonder has now.
