Do any of the guys were jeans for dinner?
Just call meagain..
I read that they serve lobster on the 7 nite. Quick question, if that is your Palo nite (if I can get a Palo nite), will they have lobster also??
Tx
So, for my next bit of planning, I found a copy of Disney's duty free list and printed it off to compare to local prices.I doubt it's gonna be worth it to bring stuff back since we have to fly, but it'll be interesting to compare anyway.
Lobster will be on Thursday night. All you want!!Yes, they have it at Palo, although we have never been at Palo on lobster night.
Did you look at the room service menu too?We love ordering room service. There's just something very relaxing about not having to leave the room if you just want a snack.

Funny how certain things cost so much more or less in different parts of the country. It is so worth it for us to bring liquor back. It costs about 1/3 of what we would pay here in Cleveland. Yet we can get a nice four bedroom, two bath home for around $150,000 just outside Cleveland where we live.![]()
Yeah I'm not into thatstuff either

The people who know me in my work say that it is hard to believe that I do this but it is fun to be crazy a little sometimes.I used to say that it's OK 'cause you will never see them again but now a days with the DISBoard that's just not so ..... isn't it Angie?

A "nice" 4BR, 2 BA house in LA would cost close to $2 million.

The same house back east where I grew up would be under $200,000.
Guess where we're gonna retire?![]()
That being said, liquor is cheap in California, as far as I can tell. I've just now gotten through what we brought back from Mexico last September, so I haven't been shopping for it in a while. But that one was out of Long Beach, so we didn't have to worry about flights.![]()
You know, I've always wondered about that. So many people post about how they order a couple different appetizers, try a couple different desserts every night, etc. But I've never been able to work up the nerve to do it. I have issues about both being too demanding and looking like a pig.![]()
But there's really been times I've wanted to try something, but I'm just not sure if I'd like it... like the escargot. So I don't wanna waste my appetizer on something I'm not gonna enjoy!!![]()

The other problem being that DH is kind of a picky eater. So doing the "you order one thing and I'll order another and we'll switch" has never really been an option.
Maybe those of us linking dinners can talk our servers into bringing bunches of stuff for us to try.![]()
I just cannot understand how anyone can afford to live in CA. No wonder your liquor is so cheap. Those prices would drive anyone to drink!![]()
I love the escargot so you can have a taste of mine..you have to like butter and garlic though..
they come in a round dish with holes filled with the sauce and the escargot and several on the dish
and then to dip your bread or roll into the sauce.. I gained 5 pounds just thinking about it

Problem is we are never IN our room.Last cruise we did order cereal, toast, juice and such for breakfast on port days. Helped save us some time for those early excursions.
