I for one believe the system stinks and is broken.

I agree 100%, as a future teacher we were taught how to teach your student how to pass a test. When answering the questions on the TExES test I could not answer the correct answer I had to answer what they want you to say.

:confused3

They get our tax dollars but are not allowed to tutor on subjects the kids are studying????? :confused3 That makes absolutley NO sense! What am I paying them for???? If I'm having trouble with math, then I need tutoring in math....and yes, I have trouble with math. :scared1:
The system is completely messed up. He cannot even explain it or understand it.

I'm going to join the crowd and go take a nap. Those that are still up have fun. Good morning to you, Wendy when you get in here.

I hope my daughter doesn't want pink hair. :rotfl2:
Have you considered the lime green shade?
I can't it is just too emotional. I only lost my mother late July a year ago and her room was always Lime/Mint Chocolate green. The memories are just too sad. It has nothing to do with being anti=DIS, just more of keeping that part of my memories closed.

First time self quoter.
I don't think that came out right. My DD will see your DD's pink hair and want pink too. She has EVERYTHING in pink. I just don't want to pay for it. I had a friend who was an expert with coloring hair blue, green, pink etc. It was really expensive at her shop.
I have always wanted bright blue hair but work wouldn't let me:scared1:
Maybe one pink lanyard for my son. When he was 3 and 4 he told everyone he was Jewish. Not sure why he did this, we aren't Jewish. It did make Christmas interesting at my inlaws when he brought the subject up.:rotfl:

Before the prince kicks in tonight, I am going to make a run at pirate. I may make it or not, but it might be fun.

Either that or the prince is going to take hold and my fingers will be stuck on one keeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I am so sorry.

Mommyoftwinfants,

My neice down in Houston feels all she has been taught is how to take the TAAS test or whatever it is called now. She has learned some subjects but those teachers are following the ciriculum. My sister feels it is all just about money and moving them through the system.

I can't sleep. I got too upset about my son's teacher. She is the stereotypical reason we have stayed away from public schools. I hate to see the state take the K12 curriculm and mess it up with poor quality teachers. No wonder GA is at the bottom.

I am afraid it is the same thing in GA with Georgia Virtual Academy.

My neighbors refer to it as something called the GRiC , The prince is calling me now and I have ot plug in and go sleep too soon before I drop tie sleep i[ sottomg o a, cpm jte cpicj

I am so sorry.

Thanks. I am more sad my dad never got to meet DD, but she knows him. It is freaky. One day I will have to post about that experience.

We got to see my mom three weeks before she went and DD was with me. I knew my mom was ready to get busy dying when I left and by the end of the month she was.

My uncle was taken away from us by some fool with a gun, and my niece was a baby when this happened and she would always talk to him until she was around 5 or 6 but she would just have these long conversations with him and if you tried to talk to her she would just completely block you out. But she would never tell us what he said..:confused3

I have to tell you that the best teachers are quitting because they are not able to teach the children their way and can't handle the "rules" where no one is really learning anything. ........The reason why I am getting my MLS so I can work in a school library and not have deal with the pressure of teaching a child how to pass a test....
