My hair has been fairly short for the most of my life (its currently in a growing out stage) i think df told me i would look nice with long hair once...all i had to do is stare at his head (he shaves it) to get him to never mention that again!

I think I'm gonna wait till it's a little longer and do Locks of Love again. Then get something kinda short and funky. How can he possibly say no to Locks of Love? The other times I've had it short have just been bob kinda haircuts. I want something a little more spiky/wispy this time. But not punk. Yeah.. they're gonna have a reeeeally easy time figuring that out.

Did you see the episode of Friends where Ross was dating some model type who revealed to a still-jealous Rachel that she used to shave her head? Rachel talked her into shaving it again and Ross freaked out.

It seemed to take about 20 minutes before. I know Angie said there was a reservation opening for a table of 3-4, so I'm guessing they had a larger one reserved. And I know Stacy didn't have reservations previously, so they wouldn't have one to cancel. If Brack had one separately, that would probably be a table for 2.

I am finally getting to do what I actually came onto the computer to do (modify our WDW itinerary). I wanted to let those that plan to attend MVMCP know that a CM the other day told me they will not let people into MK at 4 PM with just a party ticket. They moved it to 5:30/5:45/6:00. She honestly said it would depend on the CM at the gate. But, they will no longer let people in at 4 PM. Maybe Emi can clarify this for us?

Basically, the official word is that if a guest asks,The event is advertised to begin at 7pm. HOWEVER...the tickets are valid begining at 4pm. Was this a person at disney reservations?

Glad to clear this up! I wouldnt want anyone to miss out on 3 hours of holiday fun! When i want on friday some of the decorations were already up...it was Sooo pretty

I don't now what it is about men and long hair. DH likes mine long too though I always threaten to cut it off. I've had it long enough and then cut enough to donate to Locks of Love twice. I was looking at the pictures from our last Disney cruise and it was down to my waist. I'd forgotten it was that long just two years ago.

But yeah, I wear it up and out of my way most days. It's just more practical.

Hey, me too. DH loves my long and gets mad it I say I am gonna cut it. Mine has never grown as long as down to my waist though!!

Thank you Thank you. It will kind of not be nice if they open up only for tables for 3-4 and not 1-2. We WERE able to move our dinner reservations to Pirate night, so I guess it would not matter if we had it on Thursday now, but we really want it on Sun or Mon.

Of course if we get the APLAPLA rotation, that means character breakfast on Sunday which means we either skip the breakfast or go and not eat and then go to PALO IF we get it on Sunday.

Does anyone know how long the character breakfast lasts or starts? We have late dining so that means the second character breakfast.

I posted last night or this morning that we were going to the Very Merry Party, now I'm not so sure. I was getting ready to purchase our advance passholder tickets, but then DH and I started adding up the cost to "run up to Disney" for less than 24 hours just to see special Very Merry stuff. With gas, hotel, tickets, etc. it will cost a few hundred dollars. It's probably the wisest thing...too bad wise and fun don't always go together

I hear you. We're just going to tour some hotels this time, we don't have AP's. I tried to get a character meal but couldn't get anything in the resorts for the nights we're there, so we'll just get the kids to hold it all in for the ship!

Yep I bought the whole crew the Pirate costumes so now another thing I have to hide from DD. And I got the baby's stocking - was disappointed it was not like the ones a few years ago when we got the other DD's - no more pretty velvet ones.

BUT we're still getting excited even more now. OK what else can I read to prepare- did this site, the Passporter, DCL site but feel like I will miss lots.

We got dh's and my costumes last week, and found ds' yesterday (he had it for Hallowe'en last year and it was HUGE--fits really well now). Lots of fun! I'm with you, I have "real" prep enough to keep me busy, but just want to keep surfing and such...

My Dad just sent me an e-mail that he and his girlfriend are eating lunch at a Chinese restaurant and being used as extras in a movie. I believe he has a phone like Bill in which you can send e-mails. It pays to be in the right place, at the right time.

No time to catch up....I'm painting....BUT!!!! I just got the call from Disney Cruise Dining. WE GOT THE GROUP DINING ROOM for Sunday 10:30. There is one ressie for 4 that is just opening up. Brack, Annette, Stacy and Andy are with us on this ressie!

Ugh, seems like this day was at least 4...kids home from school for the holiday but dh was working to save the day as an extra "floater" for Dec. Made the mistake of going out for groceries, the whole WORLD was shopping--no carts! Had to go back to the parking lot. Lines around the store...the clerk, when I got there, was working *really* fast and *really* efficiently, and I thanked her for it...she said I was the only not-cranky person in the store! Feeling cranky now. Beat, hating dark-by-5 pm, not enough done...and now dh is home early b/c traffic is good (everybody's still shopping, not commuting) and I'm dis'ing, looking like I've been sitting around eating bon bons all day...AND my virtuous diet-and-exercise day is still only getting me by on my Weight Watchers points. Whine whine. Glad the day's almost over... Oh, yeah, and the laundry is still coming out to meet me...

But the kids just took down more links on our paper chain...26 days!!

I went to Michaels today and bout the cutest disney scrapbooking stickers to personalize a little white board for our door. I noticed on the cruise blog that we will have several fellow dissers on deck 6 so everyone stop by and leave us notes! I am having way to much fun planning this cruise....My plans for today involved cleaning the house honestly!

Thank you Emi! (and by the way I am Jennifer. . . I don't think I've been on here that much at the same time as you. I am very excited for you and your DF on your upcoming wedding. Thank you for recommending the suitcases. We love them! They are of better quality than I anticipated. Usually it is the other way around. )

It was a CM on the reservation line that told me about not being able to get into MK at 4 PM with the MVMCP ticket. I was modifying our ADRs and Child Care and just casually asked them if any ADRs opened up during MVMCP on our night. That's where the time came up. I'm glad to hear we can have some "extra magic hours" of our own!

I'm guessing you'll be able to get Brunch reservations on board. Which might actually work out better cause then you could pick and choose the time you want rather than just getting what opens up online.

I think it was dinner when we did it, but I also remember getting a call on one of our cruises and asking if we wanted a second reservation. I think they probably hold back so much for the day of boarding that then they don't even get full sometimes. Which would make sense considering how many people on the main board say they can't even get reservations at 90 days out. I'm thinking that has to be because they keep so much availability open for embarkation day.
