I TOTALLY want to put this in my signature now along with Judy's!!!! I'm just afraid a mod or someone else would be offended or upset and kick me off or ask that I take it off! :lmao:

Go for it!!! :cheer2:

We just changed from early to late seating :yay: , since the boys are 5 I know that they will seat us at 5:30 and that is just way to early for us to eat we usually don't eat dinner until 7:00 anyways because my dad doesn't get home from work until 6:30 and with the time difference it would be like eating dinner during their after school snack time and then during the show they will be whining that they are hungry for dinner......

so whoever was trying to switch I would give them a call because a spot for 4 just opened up...:)

joiseymom what is your name? I am terrible at remembering names so I am trying to memorize everyones before I leave...:hippie:

I plan on stopping at La Casa del Habano in either Marigot or Phillipsburg and picking some up. It depends on price as to how many I get. I'm not dropping $500 on cigars ;)

We bought and smoked a Cuban on one of our trips. Not nearly as good as Cohiba, in our opinion. The only facination I can see is that we are not supposed to have them, thus we want them. ;) The kid in us. :lmao: But, then I don't know the Cuban brands very well to know which ones are good, better and best. So, we will be having a Cohiba with our Cognac most likely. Or we may ask the CM who sells cigars to make a recommendation for a really good one and try something else.

Since I don't go to the beach much, I have one suit that's worked for me for years. It's a "tankini" which I like cause it's much, much easier for bathroom trips. It also has a halter type neckline cause I apparently have no shoulders with which to hold up regular type suit straps. But I really love the halter type, cause no matter how much I move around in the water or swim, the top never slips down. :thumbsup2

I tried a tankini, but it kept creeping up my belly! :sad2: :lmao: So, back to my trusty Mickey basic black one piece. I do wear my coverup when I am not swimming usually. Pink with a flamingo on the front. You can't miss me on CC.

The board is moving so fast that I forgot who posted it, but the suggestion to also DVR "Cold Case" in order that I don't miss TAR.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. What an excellent suggestion!!!

:thumbsup2

It was moi....:happytv:

Oh, BTW :offtopic: Tina wanted me to ask a question to the other "Poohs": What are people doing for swimwear on the cruise or what have you found that you like/can live with?? She hasn't found anything yet and she's still looking. Thanks!! :thumbsup2

I have a swimming pool, and just wear suits I have bought. I have suits from fashion bug, lane bryant and other pool size stores. Hey, I am pooh sized, nothing I do is gonna hide it. And I do go swimming...oh well!! She will be in good company. It Figures makes good suits. Let her go to Lane bryant online or fashion bug online or catherines on line...she will find something. They aren't cheap though!!

Are you going to get any Cubans at the official store in St. Maarten? DH plans to get about 10 to smoke and to bring back for friends.

Not sure if anyone has responded yet..since I am still in catch up mode. But it is against US law to bring Cubans into the USA. You can smoke them on the ship, but you cannot bring them off. Sorry.

joiseymom what is your name? I am terrible at remembering names so I am trying to memorize everyones before I leave...:hippie:

My name is Merryl. Even after I learn everyone's name, I am not gonna remember!! I am very bad at names these days...so please forgive me :upsidedow .

I have a tankini, I got it from a freind of DH's...yes talk about strange. She never wore it and I love it. It is 2 peices, and you can't tell. It is my favorite!!

Ah, that was the other thing, beer tasting. Dh wants to do that. His beer tastes are pretty wide, but he's always interested in trying something new. (And, um, drinking beer...)

Jason, have you been to that cigar store before? Dh will probably be looking for some guidance. We still have some cigars leftover, he bought a bunch for BIL for his son's birth, but I know he'd be happy to look for something different.

No, I have some close friends who are cigar "fiends" and they recommended that store as an official and safe store to get real "cubans". Most of what you find on the internet and other stores, especially in Mexico, are knock-offs or made from scraps from the real cigar rollers. I'm not an aficionado, but I do like good cigars, so I figured I would stop there and get some help. The CM's on the ship will help too.

Oh, I know they're illegal to bring back in to the US, and I don't plan on bringing back hundreds, but if I find some I like, I will bring back a handful. I'll even take the label off them, it's not the fact that their "cubans", but that they're something I like.

Same here, I'm not very experienced with it. So I figure I'll go in the store and ask for some help, and see if I can find something I like. I actually like a $3 stick that my local liquor store sells, can't think of the name now, better than some of the ones I've bought at local cigar shops.

Well DH has been reading up on Cigar Afficianado magazine for their recommendations. He wants to try it and if he doesn't smoke them all, somehow they will accidentally find their way into our luggage. I like a Cohiba on poker night with the girls myself.

A question for anyone not ignoring me, when you booked this cruise were you secretly hoping it would be a less busy time being between Thanksgiving and Christmas? The cruise was cheaper and we for one thought really how many will be able to go at that time of year.

I guess the best would be right after the New Year when most are getting back to school, and others are facing huge holidays bills!!! January 2008 was not available when we booked. Three of our cruises have been anniversary cruises in January and they have NEVER been that crowded.

I know it is Disney, but I guess I had wishful thinking.

Oy my goodness.

I almost forgot the best news that has happened.

I sat down with the director of DD's pre-K and we came to an understanding. There will be no more grief about her missing eight days of pre-K. I have no idea what we will do when it comes to kindergarten and the Panama Canal next year, but at least for this year that weight has been lifted.

since we got on only because of the fabulous deal I figured everyone else would join in too.... I feel that the ships are built to house this many people so its not like we are not going to have somewhere to sit for dinner or a seat in the theater, crowds don't bother me at all so I don't mind, I figure we will hang out at the pool when everyone else is till sleeping and the boys will hang out in the clubs during the day...:thumbsup2 I am a more the merrier type person.

congrats on the school thing, I told the boys teacher last week and she said OK I will send the boys assignments for the week home with them thursday...

Hellooooooooooo There....
Checking In..

DH was half asleep on the couch.. til I started Laughing and woke him up :lmao: I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I was reading all the replys and Puns to Spanx and Girls :rotfl2:
