Hi to all-

I just found this board a week ago and just booked this cruise about a month ago. No I haven't read all the messages but I wanted to say hi. First cruise for our family so I'm trying to gather all the tips I can. Trip is a surprize for our DD so kinda doing info gathering quietly. If you have tips any and all would be helpful. Traveling with an infant so it should be interesting.

Oh my gosh! I thought I'd be able to resist all the tweens and toddlers. But you're gonna have a 4 month old!!! My biological clock isn't going to be very happy with me at all. Oh, I just noticed the LA in your name too. Would that be Los Angeles? Could be Louisiana. We're in West LA.

Did anyone ever see the episode of Everyone Loves Raymond where Frank kept sniffing the baby's head cause he said the new baby smell was the fountain of youth?

There is a story, of course! We were at DL during the Pirates opening time last May. Friends (DIS friends of course...those internet freaks) had paid for a concierge room at the Grand Californian and was not using it. They offered to let us stay in the room. Well.....3 doors down was, JOHNNY DEPP! So, we figure that as we were sleeping in the same hotel, same floor, just doors away, we were SLEEPING with him! We did not see him, of course, but his body guards were in the room next door to him. They kept their door open 24/7 and whenever the elevator doors opened one of them stood up and stood in the door way.

Living in LA, I always get family back home asking about celebrity sightings. And then when I tell them whom I've seen, they're always a little disappointed cause they're not bigger names.

We lived in Anaheim for years and there were no celeb sightings for us. Then we move to Oregon and get to sleep with one!

Actually, I'm over cruising the DISigns board. There are some amazingly talented people over there.

I went to Michael's today to get lime green t-shirts since the Mickey ones are all sold out and was thinking of trying to get something similar put on the front with an iron-on. But there's so many things over there, I might have to be a rebel and get something else instead.

Oh.. .by the way, for anyone else interested, Michael's has their t-shirts on sale 2 for $5 this week, so if you need one, grab it! I actually got the last lime green XL one at the store I went to today.

Work is really tough right now. There are 4 of us to take the complaints of 45,000 veterans. But, one got selected for a jury for a trial that is expected to last 4 weeks. This is her second week. And, one has been sick the last 2 days. So....two of us. Not fun days. I will have earned this vacation by the time it gets here!

The last job I was at, there were 4 of us working in customer service. But the company was losing money fast so they kept cutting hours and increasing duties till it got to the point that people just kept dropping like flies. The company eventually bankrupted and closed, but geez... those were not fun days.

Well I went to warm up my coffee, and decided that since I only have the 2 9 year olds now, I should leave a little late to make sure they are up and getting ready for school before I leave for work. I love going in early, because I get home right before DD gets off the bus in the afternoon!

That is a great price! Actually, crafts and math scare me, so Michael's is not a store I have been in more than once. At Albertson's today it dawned on me why I don't shop that store much..... too much MATH! Broccoli was 6 lbs for $10. So, how much IS that??? DrHug was working there today and it was on my way home so I stopped in.

Is it just me, or do the boards get really slow when we're close to a ? And not just our board, but all of them. The other one I'm looking at in another window is stalling too. So weird. It's like they're watching us...
