Thanks for the advice. How was your experience getting married on the magic? Cathy hasnt been the best about returning my calls so im a bit anxious!

I just booked my cruise last week!!! My df (disney fiance? im new at this!) and I will be getting married on the ship. It will be our first cruise so we are both very excited/nervous of what to expect. Everyone on these boards seems so nice, so i have no idea why i havent posted sooner!

For our excursions/extras we are doing:
Palo Brunch
French Riviara Beach trip
Exotic Rasul (spa)
Hike, Snorkel, Kayak at Cas Cay
Snorkel equipment rental for CC

Do I have to much planned? Being our first cruise i was scared that if i didnt have plans for the port day we would be lost, or not know what to do. Has any one done any of these exursions before and have any tips for us cruise newbies?

Welcome aboard! One of the DIS group on our last cruise got married on the ship. It was neat.

Planing is pretty much what you want to do but I try not to put too much in so we can relax some. The ones you mention are good. The Rasul is a girl thing (IMHO ) so don't expect your guy to be thrilled with it as much as you.

The CC plans may be a bit too many but you certainly want to swim and sun.

You'll have a great time.

DGS just came in to tell me he and 5 of his buddies want to do a Yellowstone trip next summer after graduation. I did a search for Yellowstone and the first thing I got was Adventures By Disney!! How appropriate is THAT! The boys can't afford that though. Budget, budget at 18!

Oh we didn't get married on the Magic. Another DISer did on the cruise we were on last Dec. I'm sorry I guess I wrote that wrong. We got married 30 years before there was any Magic Ship!

I would LOVE to do a Vow renewal but DH thinks it's corny I haven't given up hope yet..

I haven't done any of the things you mentioned other than snorkel at CC, but it seems like you have a good mix of stuff. And keep in mind that it is a vacation. If you get halfway through and figure you've done enough and you just want to relax, then cancel everything else! Do what you want... you're on vacation... and your honeymoon too!

And you will become addicted like the rest of us and you will go again, and again, and again. So you don't have to do it ALL this trip!
