Ok, here's another question...you know how the cafeterias at the WDW resorts had a microwave at the beverage station (presumably so one could nuke food that got cold)? Any chance there's a microwave accessible on the boat? Maybe at the drink station? Our kids love fresh popcorn, and it'd be nice to be able to pop some and take it to our stateroom, or even the "dive in theatre". (Got the impression they only have the bagged, stale stuff for sale?)

I've mentioned more points to Annette but all I get is the "LOOK"! :scared:

It's not that she doesn't like DVC but she is a lot more practical than I am. She says that she likes to eat. :confused3

Exactlythe same in this household! :lmao: Are you sure you two are not brothers?? ;)

Always the bridesmaid never the bride. Sigh.

Ah well, that was funny, anyway!:rotfl:

Yes. Be sure to ask a bit ahead of time. You may be surprised. We were once the only table on the whole cruise that had Key Lime pie. It was a surprise, and specially made for us by one of the Pastry Chefs, by request of one of our favorite servers. We mentioned, at one of the meals, how disappointed we were that there was no Key Lime Pie on any of the menus for the cruise. We didn't even have to ask. That was on our first 7 day Eastern. :cloud9: Boy, did we feel special.

Guess I should have read ahead before I told this same story!

:lmao: Have you seen that one that's a web page that states "You have reached the end of the internet." Sometimes I seriously think my Dad is trying to find that page. He just wants to know everything. I think I'm gonna sneak it onto their computer as the screen saver next time I visit them. :thumbsup2

:confused3 We've never eaten ashore on our cruises except some Key Lime pie in Key West. Our DS and his wife did in Mexico but we just haven't done it.

Really? I'm thinking I don't know how we could resist trying something in St. Maarten. Not planning much in the way of shore excursions, but we brake for food...

Ok First of all.. I am soooo disappointed in all of you :sad2:

I've been gone since midnight and only had to go back 3 and a half pages.. :sad2: How pathetic is that :rolleyes1

Ok... so anyway...

DH wears a Suit and Not a Tux to formal night, we never tried renting one directly for DCL

No, we don't dress for Pirate night. I would love to but DH won't :guilty:

At work I found out that we are dressing up for Halloween from the 25- 31 so now I need a costume for the 30th which is our Trick or Treat and the 31st cause it is Halloween.. but noone can wear anything scary... I was thinking maybe just putting on my NJ Devils jersey

and since the 24 - 28 we will be in WDW & MNSSHP :cheer2: and DH & DS won't dress up.. at least I won't feel out of place dressing up at work..

So.. Now I have a discussion question... Do any of you play Shuffle Board? Would you all like to have a friendly game with us Dis'ers ? I thought maybe we could have a Dis' game of shuffleboard maybe during an at sea day or something.. :confused3

:yay: :yay: :yay:

Hey, Julie, I just followed the link and a tux is only $85! (He has shoes and dark socks, he's an office kind of guy...) Still trying to talk him into a kilt, though... Anyway, :thanks:

I've never gone looking for one, but I've seen other people ask the question and the reply be "no microwave available." I think to the point where people have had to ask CMs to warm up baby bottles for them because there wasn't another option.

We are considering a walking tour of the stops on our own. Maybe we'll find something then. popcorn::

Now I may have seen that same article...was she, like, 13 or 14 when they married and everyone said it wouldn't last?? Very sweet story.

Yes, they were 14 and 16 and ran off to get married. Too young, it probably won't last! They said they have never argued, said they didn't have time, they were too busy working. At the end of the article he said he still enjoys her company! :cloud9:

I found the picture of our 'DISTree' .....

Ok, time to put the kiddos to bed in this earliest timezone (except for Wendy!!). See you later!

Anyone watching AFV?

They just showed a hairy guy in a Speedo! :scared1:
