It's ironic that you posted this. A couple of weeks ago when I was looking for a hotel for our New Year's Eve stay, I found articles and threads related to this subject. So when we got to the hotel I told DH and kids by no means to use the glasses. DH looked at me strangely and I briefly told him he did not want to know how they clean them and don't ever use them. (prior to reading about it we would use them) Now watching the video you posted, I just explained to him in detail why. This is absolutely disgusting actually seeing it! I know some hotels may think plastic cups are cheap looking but if they aren't going to properly sanitize glasses then that's what they need to do. Thanks for the video! As gross as it is, people need to be aware. It's bad enough that hotels don't change the sheets between visitors and that bedspreads are washed maybe once a month. And on that note, I checked our beds when we checked in last week and noticed that the sheets did not look fresh. Freshly cleaned and changed sheets do not have the mattress design imprinted on them. The whole thing really grossed me out. I'm a bit of a germaphobe. And the hotel we stayed at was not cheap!

I'm a germaphob too and it skanks me out hotels.........

I am the freak who packs Lysol when I travel. Not liked it helped when we were in WDW in September, Bruce and I got wicked colds.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fave place was our stateroom 8602 - the space, the fixtures and fittings, the verandah, the walk-in wardrobe... I was blown away when we walked in the stateroom - I actually shed a tear...

I love it...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doing fine. Nobody is sick right now. Watch, I probably just jinxed us. Hayden had a meltdown Tuesday at school because he was taking a test and stressing out but his teacher let him stop and finish yesterday. Poor kid. I really hope the rest of you don't get sick!

We-ell, my men (DH & DS22) are going to watch a soccer game - they support a team called Aston Villa who Tom Hanks also supports!!! How crazy is that? Anyway, they're out for the day and I'm planning to go to an open day at my local Uni - I saw an ad about psych nurse retraining and that's what I used to do, so I'd like to see if they'd want me...

Sounds like a fun time...........

Motrin, every four hours.....I even figured she is close enough to being six so I uped the amount to what they recommend for six year olds. Close enough Feb. 7th is their Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
