Did you get your ice maker water line fixed? Now we're having issues with our bathroom sinks. If it's not one thing it's always another!

Yes and no. The water line is now fixed, but still no water from the dispenser. Looks like the pump is clogged or broke.

I may need to call Sears for a repair call.

That's good! Whatever I plan will need to be for the both of us...I wouldnt feel comfortable with her somewhere else in any of those places (unless she stays on the ship) She wouldnt feel comfortable either...

I know what you mean - I feel cautious about Samuel doing his own thing but it's hosted by the DCL onboard staff from the Stack plus he will be 15 and he's sensible. Can you tell I'm convincing myself??? ;) I want us to do other excursions together tho'...

They teach you how to do it here, test you on it, and then you use like 5 times your whole life! Everything in the city is parking garages here now, too.

It's rare that I ever need to parallel park - thankfully.

Yep - taught, tested and will still drive the extra mile to avoid it... ;)

In 2006 when we took it easy, we just got off the ship in Costa Maya, but in Cozumel we did the submarine dive and did some jewely shopping

We did two stops at Castway Cay so we had plenty of beach time

I want to make sure I get the balance right - last time we did our own thing in Key West and Grand Cayman but that felt a bit of a waste. The Tulum Ruins excursion from Cozumel was so wonderful, I'd love to do another cultural trip... :cloud9: Not sure if that's Samuel-friendly tho'...??? :rolleyes1

I am sure he will be fine...15 and with the DCL group is a good age...Paige did go back to the ship after the dolphin encounter in Nassau and I shopped...We were both fine with that.

Well I broke out the tools again, removed the back cover, (after disconnecting the power) crazy I am, stupid I'm not ;) , And determined the water solenoid was shot. With my ohm meter I can see that it is shorted.

A twenyfive dollar part, my own labor, and I saved a service call ( not a bad day) priceless.

Part is on order, will be here in a week or less.

your a very caring parent and there is nothing wrong with that. ;) my parents were in your position too. when i was on my frist cruise this past august, my parents let me do what ever i wanted to do on the ship but they gave me some ground rules. i was 15 then, im 16 now LOL. they gave me my freedom on the ship to hang out with the other teens but when it came to getting off the ship and going on the excursions in Nassau, i had to be with my parents at all times. i never left their sight. but i'll be 17 by the cruise and my parents are probably gunna give me the same rules and stuff. im gunna be in the Stack probably every time im on the ship LOL so i hope i can meet teens my age or around my age. i hope i can get to know Samuel and the other teens that are on the DIS going on this cruise.

Strange weather. It's sunny and 43 here at that moment. We spent the last couple of hours outside running around the yard. The kids have friends over - it's chaos here!

We wandered over to Wawa and walked into Tony Meola, former goalie for the U.S. National Soccer Team, and considered a pretty big soccer "legend" - if there is such a thing here! Fairly exciting day for the boys! DD is playing on the swings - it's nice to hear the sounds of kids laughing and playing in the middle of the winter.

That's a shame - hopefully you've left by now...
