Wow!!! I'll tell DH!!! It's being played as our equivalent of "Monday Night Football" - so my DH and DS will be sitting here in front of the TV feeling very tense...

Hope everyone got out today! Nothing cures the winter doldrums like getting out and getting some fresh air in my opinion.

Out shopping all day - doing our best to jump start the economy! Grabbed dinner as well.

Anyone have exciting plans this evening?

I did a little gardening - tidying the patio and the area around the front door. Want to get some spring-flowering plants in tomorrow - IMO that's a great cheer up...

No shopping for me today - tho' planning a trip to the largest Mall in Europe during the coming week... Just don't tell my DH...

Ever wonder why teachers and parents continue to insist on overloading kids with homework when there are no definitive studies proving its overall learning benefits?

Absolutely agree. My DS doesn't do homework, he does prep - preparatory work for the next day's classes. It's kept short and sweet but he's at one of the UK's top schools and is doing really well...
