yeah, unfortunately i don't get to go too often to yankee candle. the restaurant there is awesome though. if you're ever up in the area you should definitely go there.

i've been living in ma for the last 5 years now and i've never actually been to the big e or six flags! haha. i've been wanting to go though, just never had the chance. all of my college friends chickened out on six flags when we wanted to go and nobody wanted to go to the big e ever.

Back to the meet. Anyone up for meeting the night before as well? We are staying at the Raddison, not sure what time we'll make it there since I will be in earlier visiting DF in Orlando. We were hoping to get there early evening. Other then enjoying the pool and picking up some wine to bring on board we have nothing else to do but do the final wait to board. Anyone else at the Raddison?

we're staying at pop century for 3 days before the cruise, so that's where we'll be up until the cruise.

Count us in for the Radisson as well, we should be arriving there sometime early Friday afternoon. The other part of our group will probably get there Thursday night since they are driving straight through, and Roodoll is flying in from Guam on Thursday. If you are planning on using the shuttle to the port, I would suggest emailing them, I booked our spot on the shuttle weeks ago.


As for the meet, how about Saturday @ 3PM before the 4PM lifeboat drill? It'll be better to meet early in the cruise so we know each other for the rest of it...

That sounds good to me....what does everyone else think?? I know last year we tried to have one during the sail away party, and is was crazy trying to find everyone. I think we ended up only meeting 2 families, and one of those we met at the Radisson.
I did find some some good "adult" beverage in the form of a local wine they make here in NC for our bag. Seems the bags are taking on a theme here.

We made our shuttle reservations a couple of months ago for 10:00 am. Then we are heading straight to the Mickey Pool. We have the whole cruise to eat. We'll probably take turns eating from Topsiders while the kids swim.
3 pm sounds good to me for our meet.

Sounds like us, we too have not been to the parks since July of 2003. We'll be arriving at POFQ on Wednesday before cruise. Cannot wait, we are all so stoked. Really jealous, DD18 is there right now with church for graduation. Wow getting to go twice in 6 weeks. She's the lucky one.

Thanks. Did you book with them directly through their web page? I am hoping they have more room (which I suspect they will have). I was going to go with the Disney but have read so many good reports on them that I thought I would rather try them.

I too, prefer the comfort of a Disney planned excursion (booked the Jeep tour in Cozumel) but there are so many good things about this tour....yes, I just sent them an email (from their website) and they send all the details
I just need to remember to bring cash
I think it will be awesome (and somewhat educational for the boys)

We are booked with David and Ivan, too. The DCL excursion required you to be 5. DD and DS are only 4. There was a longer tour for all ages but we wanted this one. I read such good things about David and Ivan we wanted to give it a try. They said young kids often find there own things to amuse themselves on the tour or just play. I have gotten some piture books about Mayans from our Library. Maybe that will help. It's a once in a lifetime chance to see these ruins the way they are now. 10 years from now they may look different if they start excavating again. Also on a side note, they were discovered by professors from Tulane U. in New Orleans, which is where DH and I both went and 1st met.

I just sent Ivan & David an e-mail also - had some questions about the ruins tour extreme with the lagoon stop. I wanted to know about the kayak tour with that - what it involves. Or could I just enjoy the lagoon. Has anyone done that tour??
The 3pm meet sounds good to us. Whatever place everyone agrees on.
My DMIL is now in the rehab section of the hospital - she's been stable. We're headed to PA later on today - it is Saturday already.... (It's their 56th Wedding Anniversary!) So we'll see how she's coming along.

Stop talking about us computer geeks that way. I am sure I have most of them beat. I am an assembly language programmer on the main frame. These PCs are too modern for me. Actually, I do the computer work at home too.

I have shirts for my son and daughter for pirate night but I think I am going to use Zazzle to make shirts for my husband and I. I have a picture of the castle with a pirate flag flying and Captian Hook standing on the balcony. I think I can do something with that. I have to get started on that tonight. Time is flying by.
