07-08-09

Also, in about an hour and a half (here in Central time) it will be
12:34:56 07-08-09

How cool is that! If you follow the whole "golden birthday" thing, it is even neater. My DH turned 33 on 03/03/03 and he was born at 3:33.

DW says that must be like a platinum birthday!

Today is mine and DH's anniversary!! :love:pirate:princess:

It is our anniversary today also. 9 years together. DH loves that we were married in 2000, so he won't have trouble remembering how many years we have been married on each anniversary.

My closest friend just had her baby today. It was not a planned birth--just went into labor naturally. Pretty cool birth date--I know the baby was born at 10 something this morning, wouldn't it be ironic if it was 10:11 am??

to your son

His birthday ended up not being so happy. We spent last night in the ER. He has a mild concussion. I guess he will wear his bike helmet next time and not worry about looking COOL!:cool2: He hates it when I'm right.

Oh, my...... well, at least, it was a memorable birthday.

A woman once told me- With girls you get the drama, with boys you get the trauma.
It's been true for me, my son is the only one who has been to the ER for an injury.

How typically American to see the rest of the world is out of step not the USA
Do you find it at all ironic that you are posting to an America-based message board that Americans are doing it wrong? Given that everyone in America pretty much understands that 7/8/09 means July 8, 2009 and would not take it to mean August 7, 2009, isn't it appropriate for people in America to show interest in today's date?

No one is suggesting that you must change how you write the date. Please don't ridicule us simply because we do it differently (especially since our way is better :lmao:).

it's a joke.

(deleted the rest of my post because I just don't need to go there by insulting an entire country...especially the one my ancestors came from.)
