We just found out my parents got upgraded from 7004--porthole room to 7562-which is a balcony and more midship--since it is their 50th anniv that's a nice surprise for them.

Is anyone doing that all inclusive in Cozumel--sounds good.

Your parents will be just a few rooms away from us - we are in 7572 :goodvibes We will most likely do the AI if Chankanaab is still closed. They are supposed to re-open sometime in June.

That's almost packing I've got a table set up in the spare room for the same thing. I've got an excel list started too....that is too funny.

OK, so I am an accountant. What is your excuse?

I'm an OCD planner  I've been buying things for our trip before we even knew when we were going to book for.

I know may wife will join you in the OCD club. :Pinkbounc

And this door sign thing, we have never done before. But you will have to see what J has done for each day. I think she has done a great job. :thumbsup2 -David-

I will be checking for sure. Someone posted double dip details on the main board. I'm looking now to see if I can find the post again.

Charla, we'll be at the BCV too! From Mon-Fri. before the cruise. So fun! I was going to post about the pool info for you, but saw you found out you were able to use it. It is AWESOME to swim there, very big. You'll love it and if you love slides, wow, you'll have a blast.

To luvcruising...we're neighbors! Well, sort of. I live south of Boston, about 30 minutes away from there. Anyway, my DH used to work at Staples! Now that was a huge commute for him, now he takes the train to Boston and loves it. How old are your kids? I have 3 boys, 18, 14 and 13.

Jillpie - thats cool that we will be staying at the same place. DH and I had a blast at the water parks...I'm sure that we will enjoy stormalong.

Found the alleged schedule for the double dips. Hope it's right...I made Flounders Ressies around it...
Sat...Reg
Sun...Reg
Mon...Formal Night ( sea Day)
Tues..Reg
Wed...Pirate night
Thurs..Semi Formal ( sea day)
Fri...Reg..special menu

Wow! Everyone has been busy. Time is ticking away and we will be sailing soon! Can't wait to meet everyone at OUR sail away party! :grouphug:

I made it through my 40th birthday this week  :cool1: :cheer2:
and I'm ready to start gearing up to sail!

Beth

Beth - hope you had a happy 40th.

I'm ready for our turn! I'm a little jealous that the first double dip group is probably gathering at the cruise terminal now to get boarding cards.

Charla - I was just thinking the same thing. Can't wait till it's our turn!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETH! party:

Hi.....wow.....a ton of post to catch up on since I checked in just 1.5 weeks ago!

We're also staying at BCV before the cruise....arriving Thursday, 6/22. We'll look for everyone at Beaches & Cream at 4:00 on Friday and at the Sail Away Party at 4:30 on Saturday!

luvcruising and tinky624.....thanks for sharing the info about SF Beach. We were planning to go to Paradise Beach, but SF sounds even better.

I read on cruisecritic that Paradise Beach was restored following the hurricaine.....anybody ready anything about the condition of SF beach? Anybody know if SF beach has water toys for the kids? Paradise Beach advertises an iceberg, water trampoline, etc. Any perspectives on whether the food is safe at either place?

Tinky624....our kids are within 2 years of yours: DS-13 (but just turned 13 last week), DD-9 (but just turrned 9 two weeks ago), and DS-6.

Cool to hear that there's been at least one upgrade.....anybody else been upgraded yet?

Linda

Hi Linda. Paradise Beach & SF Beach are right next to each other. I'll see if I can find the info on the water toys. I read on Cruise Critic that the food is safe.

Here is the scoop on Paradise Beach & San Francisco Beach - they are right next door to each other. Paradise Beach has the water toys - which has a small PP use fee.
For US$8 you or the kids can get a fun-pass for all-day use of the beach toys - from the climbing iceberg and water trampoline, to kayaks, floating sun-mats and snorkeling equipment"
It looks like Taxi Fare to the beach is about $13. SF Beach says they have beach toys avail for free, but no description of them.

I found some photos taken 3/6/06. It looks like Paradise and SF Beach are both in good shape.

Charla- Were you able to get your room at the BCV? And I hope someone gets to their room soon on the first DD Cruise I want to know whats going on, Im just so excited!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Wow, Mary has already put in her first post "live from the Cove Cafe"!!! :cool1:
I know! We are anxiously awaiting more information! :surfweb: I know it won't be much longer, but I can't wait! :yay:

Beth- Happy Belated Birthday!

I can't believe we will be getting scoop soon on how the first double dip goes! I can envision everyone now getting ready for the lifeboat drill! Even that gets me more excited ( pitiful, isn't it?!) We joined a pool today in order to work on a base tan for those 2 CC days! :thumbsup2

I'm glad to hear they have Pitate stuff at Downtown Disney. We will be sure to check it out!

Let's keep up the chatter so we can top 100! :cheer2:
