Hi All!

We were going to take our kiddos to DL for the first time back in 2020 but that trip was cancelled. We are now ready to go again and have booked a trip for May 22nd to 27th. As I’m looking at everything and starting to plan out the trip I’ve got a few questions for everyone here.

My 6yr old daughter is still really into the Disney Princess so I think a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique would be right up her alley. Is the Princess Signature Dress Collection package really worth the splurge? Is there a big difference in quality of the dresses offered in that package versus the Deluxe package? Also, each package says ”starting at” for their prices…are there a ton of add-ons that they offer above and beyond what is included? Lastly, do they offer to hold the dress we buy her there and we can pick up later that evening before going back to the hotel? I’m sure she’ll be wanting to wear it out but not sure that’s the best idea for the remainder of the day in the park.

Lastly, it looks like it will be Grad Nite on the 24th and 25th. Is it better to pick our days in one park over another for the Grad Nites? We didn’t select park hopper tickets so we’ll be tied to one park for the entire day. My initial plan was to do DL/CA/DL/CA with probably either our arrival day or departure day in DL as well. Just wondering if one park is usually busier than the other for the Grad Nites?

TIA!

DS, I have no tangible advice, but it would be fun if your daughter could wear her princess dress in the park for at least a little while. You're right that it might not be practical for going on many rides. Could you maybe reserve a sit-down lunch (or appropriate meal) after her BBB makeover so she can walk around and show off for a while, have a meal with CMs fawning over her, then change back into her play clothes and you can put the dress in a locker till you leave DL?

That is a good suggestion. I’ll see if I can try and plan it so our booking is close to lunch time, we can grab lunch, and then change afterwards or if we feel it’s time for a midday break she can change back at the hotel before we go out again.
