~ºoº November 27, 2010- Western Magic! ºoº~

Hello - we are adding our name to the list. This will be our 2nd Disney cruise and we can not wait! We did a 4 nighter and that was wonderful!

We are sailing with my parents and my uncle. Parents have cruised several times, but not with Disney so I am curious to see what they think. My uncle has never been on a cruise so it will be interesting to see what his reactions are.

I don't know about anyone else, but i am surprised to see Cat 12s and 7s still available. It seems like the boat is a little on the empty side right now.

We also just booked the KSF April MR 10 day.

I'm obviously acronym-deficient :rotfl: Your going to have to 'splain this one to me :rolleyes1

Can you believe we are at the 4 month mark!:dance3:

A midnight arrival at MCO sounds very tiring and annoying that you are going to have to work the day after Thanksgiving :sad2:

Welcome to mcubit! :goodvibes

Could be worse, Darcy! We leave Dulles at 9:35 and get in just before midnight...and yes, we are at the Hyatt too!!! Have to work the day after Thanksgiving as my 'opposite' wanted Thanksgiving weekend! After knowing we had this cruise booked!
UGH - that is horrible! My DH may have to work a 1/2 day which is fine as that means he will get out at 11:30 and be home by 1:00. We only live 10 minutes from the airport, so that is very nice. Plus, if he's at work, he will be out of my hair for my last minute packing. LOL

Of course, I am supposed to be working 1/2 day (from home) that day as well, so that means I'll be logged on to work and periodically checking emails (although it's usually very quiet that day - knock on wood!). Plus, how much can I really do with work when I'll be out for the following week???

I'm just not used to taking a late afternon flight for anything Disney. We usually take the first flight out to be in WDW for a day when we arrive...this will be weird in taking a late flight and not going to any parks. but, man am I looking fowrard to relaxing for a 7 night cruise!!!

Hi everyone! I am soooo excited! We have another family travelling with us, but they aren't on Disboard. Can I still send in their information for FE? They would love to participate, but aren't ones to get on the boards. Let me know and I will PM their information. :)

Us too, we always go out first thing, but not this time. It will be interesting to say the least! It's all good, I will get plenty of time to relax once we are onboard!!! Besides, I never sleep the night before a cruise (or Disney vacay) anyway! :rotfl:

Yes, you can put your DisBoard name with their family name and information if you want to add them to the FE and they want to participate. Send me the info. Our FE group is growing, I think we may be up to 20 staterooms now!

I am right there with no...no sleeping the night before we leave, I think I'm afraid I won't get up on time. It will be odd to have the whole day at home before we leave....and with the kids home, too. That should be interesting. The day will be filled with "is it time to leave yet?" :rolleyes1

I forgot the reason I popped on here to post...

just saw on Passporter that they got the 2010 DCL books and have started to ship them!!! I'm very excited and hope to get mine soon....want more time to peruse them and find some reviews on the new excursions (if I can online) before next month when it's the 90 day mark.

It's getting closer....once school starts, the time will FLY by. I can tell already!

I am SO excited the Passporters are coming! My husband is in publishing so I can really feel for the Passporter people, but still...I'm ready for that book!

:banana:Welcome Macubit!! It's nice to see our list growing!!

I'm so excited to hear the the 2010 Passporters are starting to ship!!!:woohoo: It's just not the same online. My last Passporter was from 2008 so I am anxious to read all the updates. We still haven't picked out our excursions.

DH is booking airfare tonight - that will be one thing off the to-do list! :yay:

Darcy - thanks for clarifying my acronyms. We just also booked the kids sail free mexican riviera cruise for spring break The 10 day was just a little more than we are paying for the 7 day with the rebooking discount so we couldn't pass it up!!!

Well - off to wait by the mail box for my passporter!!!

Gailyn

Is there a list of kids and ages for this cruise? It would be fun for DD and DS to have pin pals before the cruise. It made our last trips more fun because the kids (and of course the parents) felt like they had friends from the moment they got on the ship. :)

Well off to watch a movie with DH and kids popcorn::

Gailyn

Hi Gailyn!
Looks like we can set up a pen pal situation for our DDs again!

Looking at airfare ourselves now. I have some free tickets on Southwest that I can use pieces of if I can just get motivated to jump through all the hoops. I think I can use the for our trip down and then pay for the way home. Lots of online time I don't have right now!

That MR trip sounds great. Didn't realize they are doing kids sail free then. Wish we had more time off at that time of the year from school so we could join you.

We are preparing for our upcoming sailing - in just a little more than a week to the Med! Seems like we have been planning it forever but still don't have anything ready. :scared1:

Thought I'd reintroduce myself here. We had booked this cruise some time ago and I posted early on but then we weren't sure we were going to keep it. Now it looks like we are in.

I'm Jeff. Traveling with DW and DD12 and DD6.

Have a great Wednesday all.

OOOH, I hope I get mine quick! I can book on Aug. 14, and I agree, it's harder to read about the excursions online that holding that book in your hand where you can flip back and forth so much easier:coffee: I can see my copious free time will end soon:lmao:

Hmm....I don't have a new Passporter ordered either... :rolleyes1 I did go look online yesterday and saw the whole thing about registering your copy on line...why did I not know about this before!! And of course my copy is at home, and I haven't registered it...sigh...sometimes life is just way too complicated. ;)

get home and register your old book to get the bigger discount - then ORDER IT!!!

I really cannot wait for mine. I have the online version, but it's not the same. I want it in my hot little hands!!!

I saw another thread about a website, Etsy, and now I think I may be ordering an "official" FE for our trip. They are too cute, I can customize it with characters and colors, and her prices are cheaper than the ones on ebay.

Now if I can just figure out what I really want to use for characters. I'm thinking Tink for DD and Stitch for DS. Was thinking Minnie & Mickey for me and DH, but he really likes Donald, so what should I use to go with Donald for me? My fave it Tink as well (just like DD). Sigh....so many difficult choices. :rotfl2:

Any suggestions?

I ordered the 2010 Passporter...you'll have to let me know how you like it when you get yours!

Just bcz DH is Donald doesn't mean you can't be Tink! LOL Of course if you wanted to be a "pair" then I guess Daisy is the obvious answer. I went with Mickey heads - DH is a mickey pirate and I'm a mickey pirate princess :cutie:

I just wanted to pop in and say Hello. We have decided to take part in this wonderful cruise once again.

My name is Tonya and I will be sailing with my DH Trey. This is our 6th cruise and our 4th time going this time of year. We can hardly wait.

We have been lucky enough to sail with Gailyn and Jeff before and look forward to meeting all of you.
