Yup, we are just outside of Phoenix...:cool1: so it will be nice for a little break from the heat for us also!! We used to live in Ca. and had annual passes for many years...this will be our first time with them again since we moved in 2007...looking forward to a fun vacation!! :tigger::dumbo:

I'm from AZ as well! It appears that there's a lot of folks from AZ, UT, and CO that go to DL. :thumbsup2 We'll be driving from Tucson.

HOORAY! I just spent my lunch hour at work going to the Disney Store at the mall to put some additional $$ on one of our Disney gift cards. So now I just have $70-worth to squirrel away on a Disney gift card before our trip and we'll be all set.

Any decision on if lime green or custom Mickey head for the thread. May will be here before you know it and if custom, need time to create!

Finally made dining reservations. Booked the Fantasmic dessert package and Blue Bayou!

Just wanted to check in and say all my dining reservations are made. We are doing Blue Bayou, Big Thunder BBQ, Carnation Cafe, and Minnie and Friends. I did an estimated amount for each meal and WITHour discount we will spend about 1800 for our 6 and a half days in the park. We could eat for months on this at home...but my philosophy is if I am going to Disneyland I am going all out.:lmao:

So we arrive at SNA at 8:15 PM, then have to get to the hotel, check in etc. But, we are going to need dinner that night. What time does Downtown Disney usually close? I was thinking that if everyone is up to it (travling with 4 year old) maybe we make a quick run to DTD for Earl of Sandwhich.

I am so excited! I got the confirmation that I am going to Club 33! Never thought that would happen to me! Anniversary lunch is going to be super special because I'm keeping it a surprise for my DH!

I don't know, I think each shop sets its own hours, so you could check with Earl of Sandwich (their website doesn't specify hours). I would consider eating at the airport, just because it's going to be pretty late. It wouldn't be as cool as eating at DTD, but my family would do better eating sooner rather than later.

We arrive at 4:35 or thereabouts, and my plan is Rainforest Cafe- I need to figure out what time to make my reservation. Do you guys think 7:00 allows enough time? We'll be taking a cab from SNA to Park Vue and checking in.

Cool! We will be arriving on our anniversary, and my plan is Rainforest Cafe that night. Enjoy yourselves!

How exciting!! Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!

Let me add myself to the list. We will be at the Howard Johnson June 22 to June 23 and we are driving from Colorado. My mom will also be coming with us from Texas. I can't wait to get back, it's been three years since we've been there and I'm looking forward to all the new things they have to offer.

My DD (9) and I will be at DL from 5/22-5/28! We're staying at the Quality Inn & Suites Anaheim resort for the first time, I've heard fairly decent things about it hopefully my information is right.

We've only made a few advanced dining ressies because of Cars Land being so busy my dd doesn't want to miss anything! LOL So I guess we're doing a bit more counter service than usual or if she could get away with it my dd would live off Dole Whips and popcorn the whole time we're there.

We've not been since Oct of 2010 when it rained and poured for DAYS flooding areas and causing us to cover up our costumes for the Mickey's Trick or Treat party. Upside of that is that due to very heavy rains we enjoyed an extremely rare opportunity to ride Indiana Jones 5 consecutive times w/o getting off as there was NO ONE in line! A highlight of my Disney life for certain. :yay:

Curiosity: Does anyone know if they have Gluten Free desserts available at Blue Bayou? I know they can get a gf meal there but since I think it's very similar to other gf meals I thought we'd just do dessert there.
Thanks!

We are going all out too :goodvibes. We are doing at least one sit-down meal, sometimes two a day for 10 days. This is our first trip and I don't know if we will be back so I am making the most out of being there (I want to try it all :rotfl:). We are also doing CS meals (mainly for lunch) and we are excited by the menus for those too. I can't believe that we will be in DLR in 48 days!!!!!!! I have so much to do still, I don't even know where to start.

YEAH!! we are leaving in exactly 4 weeks - 4 weeks!!!! we are also suprising our kids because they have been awesome throughout what i will call a "craptastic year". it will sound like a "bad country song" but our dog died, my husband was in a car accident and it totalled one of our cars (he was AOK thank goodness), we then went on a weekend trip but EVERYONE was throw-up sick so we stayed in our hotel room the entire time (literally), our furnace went out for a week and my youngest was in the hospital for a week. so i "think" this will be the fun break that we all need!!

we are staying at the hyatt orange county from may 18 - 22nd. i am still toying with the paradise pier but not sure. we are bringing my inlaws as a "thank-you" for helping with our children through the years so it's becoming a bit more expensive than i had thought. i'm happy to do it though and it will be worth it but we won't have a car so i keep thinking paradise pier for convenience but then i think about the hyatt as we can afford a 2 bedroom suite that is larger.

either way - it will work out and we are EXCITED!!!!!!!! i just found this thread so i am happy to see all of the excitement for upcoming trips!
