£ hit 1.8668 in the interbank market.

I believe an 11 year high :) It all helps to pay for the holidays :D

Rats, bought mine last Thursday!

I thought it might be on the way down:( :earseek:

I reackon it's a difference of about $30-$40,I can live with that:confused:

I'm just waiting for it to get to $2.

Then the wife will be able to go shopping without asking me "what's that in pounds" !!

Wow, this is great news - because of the great rate we're thinking of treating ourselves to AP's - buying them now - for our trip April 05 - and maybe another trip later that year!!! We normally by the 10 day world pass at 199/ 159, but at these rates we could get the AP's (not Premiums) for 218/185 - a total of 807 pounds!!!
I wonder if we should wait a few weeks and see if it continues to rise, and get an even better deal.

Cath:D

I would wait. The "experts" are forecasting that the pound will hit the $2 mark this year. Let's face it, Bush is going for re-election in November, so he won't want to see interest rates rising. Until that happens the dollar isn't going to strengthen much.
