You're going there AGAIN??? My first ever trip report.

I have been reading lots of pre-trip and trip reports on DIS and this year I thought why not? I have 2 main reasons for doing a TR this year:

1. I want to contribute to the food porn! It is ruining my diet which is unfair so why shouldn't everyone else suffer!

2. DH will have to agree to buy me a new camera so I can take pictures of our food. If he doesn't I shall buy one anyway :rotfl: .

The cast for our longest ever Disney/Orlando trip:

Lam, 32 (physical age, metal age about 8), WDW fanatic and all out chicken. You will have to read the TR to see if I finally brave Mission Space this year. I teach science to kids aged between 11 and 16, I have 2 countdowns on the go - 1 till we finish for summer  and 1 till we leave for Disney :woohoo:. I have 2 babies (one is DH, the other is Percy our cat).

DH (I call him Nessie for reasons I won't disclose here), 34 (mental age anywhere between 2 and 60 depending on the situation). Gas plant operator and willing to brave anything that any theme park can throw his way. He has 2 babies (me and Percy).

We both live in Stockton, north east UK. You American folks will have to forgive us our Englishness, I will try not to use too many Englishisms.

I will post some photos when i get the camera mentioned above :bitelip:

Coming up:

Where are we staying?
Where are we eating :cloud9: ?
Who said you could buy that? :confused3

We will be staying at Boardwalk Villas, Wilderness Lodge Villas, AKL Villas and OKW. Dare I say we also have 2 nights at Royal Pacific Universal as well.

DH has booked 2 surprises that he recently told me about as I asked why we were going to Melbourne??? He said he had booked tickets for us to see Ron White for our Anniversary - :woohoo:

Here are our ADRs for August, pictures upcoming from each of these:

Omg that is one cross looking animal! He must know we are going to WDW soon and he is staying at Grandma's again :rolleyes1

Had to take the day off work with a stomach bug

No food for me today  but looking at the food pictures is helping me get through the day.

Today is my 40 days to go shoutout :cool1: I am getting more excited by the day, I am spending today reading the disboards. We have 2 nights in London before we fly to Orlando so also need to book a restaurant for our wedding anniversary the night we arrive. Nessie wants to go on the London eye but I have given a categorical "no way but I'm happy to wait while you do it" response. This is my stock response to ToT, Mission Space and any other ride I don't like the look of. We are also hoping to visit the Tower of London and see some other sights as well.

I'm off to get some more diluted juice...

Yay! The ME tickets have arrived! 36 days to go and I can't wait. If you are reading this please say hi - lots of people are reading but nobody is saying anything :confused3

Is this the worst PTR ever?

You're so close to your trip! I'm jealous!

I'm also jealous that you have a new camera...i need one of those.

What is the london eye?

The London eye is the big wheel in London next to the river Thames. It is HUGE and you are stuck on it for about half an hour once it starts going round. You are inside a glass pod but still I'd end up crying with fright I know I would! :scared1:

32 days to go and I'm getting silly now, that's less than 2,900,000 seconds.

Good report... would LOVE to go to all those restaurants on ONE trip!! Woo-hoo!!

I have 27 more days until DISNEY!! Have you started packing yet? I have started packing for DS11. I take my time packing and make sure everything fits nice and NEAT...who wants to iron on vacation?!?!?!

Pre-trip report is great!!! I find it helps cut down some of the anxiety...YEAH I'm 30 and I love DISNEY!!!!!!! PROUD OF IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!

27 days to go and getting excited. Have not started to even think about packing yet. We are usually running around the morning we leave finding and packing things. I need to make sure I order my meds in good time though, last year the receptionist at the doctors got really "well you should have done it earlier" on me.

Have arranged to take Percy the happy cat to his grandma's. That is as organised as we are yet. I have aleays been a last minute person which drives DM to distraction. She is packed weeks before a holiday and has all her clothes hung up ready to put in her case. Last year the last of the stuff from the dryer was packed about an hour before we left the house :rotfl:

Got the ME tickets  which always gets me in the Disney mood, thanks for the comments guys. Looking forward to all that food.

18 days to go...

I have for once started to get organised. I have got some Bodyglide off the net. It stinks!!! But if it stops me getting sore I'll cope.:lmao:

Nessie is going to buy our 21 day tickets today. We have also requested Arousha Savannah at AKL so we have animals to look at. Table in London booked, we have got a nice steak dinner to look forward to on our Wedding Anniversary.

Still undecided about the Eye, probably going to give it a miss. We are hoping to see the Tower of London on the Sunday as Nessie has never been and it's 25 years since I went there. Loooooong list of jobs still to do - I'll start tomorrow

Man, do I wish to be you right now. My next trip is in December of 2009! Here in the US the highest ticket day is a 10 day pass but I guess for English travelers more days are available due to longer vacations. The exchange rate is so much better than ours 1 USD=0.50 pounds Does that encourage more UK travelers to visit the US?

Just subscribing to your PTR! I bet you are sooo excited right now! I am and I don't go until December! :cool1:

Have you got a plan....as in what parks you are doing and when?

7 days till we go to London!!

We don't have a plan as such but we will decide each day what we are doing based on EMH and our dining for that day. I do know the first day we are heading to Epcot to do the new Spaceship Earth. That afternoon will be MK to do updated Haunted Mansion and eat at Pecos Bill.

I have actually got most of my stuff ready, for the first time ever I am organised :cool2:

Ironed all clothes I need to take, shoes ready, 1 pair of crocs washed (they were fiilthy) and 1 still to do. I don't know what I'll do the day before this day is usually spent running around packing and getting sorted. Oh well, guess I'll just have to spend the day with DIS...

LOL!!! :lmao: Tooo freakin' cute! My animals hate it when I leave too. They're usually still mad at me for at least a week afterwards. Ahhhhh well!

2 days till we leave for London :cool1:

Clothes are mostly ready for the first time ever, cat is at Grandma's, camera is ready for some food porn snapping, hair is being sorted tomorrow (gone will be the current sheepdog style!) and we're ready to rock and roll!

I am going to start the TR proper hopefully today, so my siggy will change to that thread. Thanks all people who have read and commented - I hope you enjoy reading my TR.
