We used to have three and they ALL closed down about 5 years ago. I'm still not over it. I mention how I miss the Disney store EVERY time I go to the mall.

Chapter 29: Waiting For Our Lunch at the Castle!
December 9th, 2011
I continued to entertain myself while waiting for our check in time. After taking a bunch of pictures from the outside, I decided to take a walk over here...
And photograph all of the murals that are inside of the Castle! I haven't had the chance to do that in a few years!
Poor Cinderelly!
The Fairy God Mother saves the day!
Oh no! Cinderella left her slipper at the ball!
And they all live happily ever after!
Then my Mom and I went to go look around inside Sir Mickey's! They had some fantastic T-Shirts in there that I decided to take pictures of.
LOL that's clever.
Cinderella's Castle = Up Style!
Hahaha I love this one. Every boyfriend should be required to own this shirt.
Christmas Tip #17: Sir Mickey's in Fantasyland has a lot of clothing that is unlike the typical theme park merchandise that you see in other stores. It is often overlooked but the store actually has some cool (and different) stuff!
A Cast Member that was in there was carrying around a pin board, so I asked if I could trade with her. I got this adorable Minnie Mouse pin!
We went into Castle Couture as well and decided to purchase Tiana's Cookbook! There were some recipes in there that looked AMAZING and it only cost $11! (Probably because it's a kid's cookbook. But I'm not complaining!) I haven't found time to make any of them yet (because of college) but the recipe for Ray's mud pie looks SO GOOD. I need to find time to make it once I get home!

I'm tellin' ya... this whole area around the castle is ridiculously photogenic!
It was finally 2 o'clock and we were permitted to enter the castle! YAY!

We waited in line for Cinderella and I spotted a cast member with a pin I liked. IT HAD FIGMENT ON IT! So I traded.
Then it was time to finally meet the princess! She was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We just loved her. She was so nice and very talkative. It was such a pleasure to meet her!
Unfortunately, I was less than satisfied with the picture that the photographer took because he took it from a bad angle. However, these ones from my camera were decent!
Once we got our pictures taken we sat down on a bench and waited for our table. I spotted a Mission: SPACE fastpass pin on one of the other cast members. So I traded for it! I'm obsessed with those fastpass pins!
After 10-15 minutes we were called! We were given our invitation and headed up to our table!

Chapter 30: The Princess and The Queen Dine at Cinderella's Royal Table!
December 9th, 2011
We were escorted to our table and pixie dust was immediately sprinkled on us upon entering the restaurant - we were seated at a table that overlooked Fantasyland! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
I could see the construction right from our seat! AH it was so cool! They are making SO much Fantasyland Expansion progress, it's basically insane!! I'm extremely, extremely excited and it was really hitting me that day. At this point in time the Beast's castle looked pretty much complete, Ariel's section was getting built, and the framing for Dumbo was up. IT'S GOING TO BE SPECTACULAR!
So anyways... we basically had the best seats in the house. I was SO excited!
We were brought our magic wands and wishing stars because, after all, we are all princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table!
Especially Mother. But, of course, she is the queen.
Also, I think Cinderella's Royal Table wins for BEST MENUS EVER!
Holy Jesus these things are beautiful. It's Cinderella and Prince Charming in stained glass form on the front of the delicious menu. SO PRETTY!
They were actually paper menus so I got to take mine home! I was so happy.
It's the birthday girl!
Alright, so it's about time that I start talking about what we consumed at this meal. First off, as many of you may remember, I basically only drink water. However, since a drink is included at this meal, I wasn't given tap water but a FANCY EVIAN BOTTLE OF WATER. And I got to drink it out of that beautiful blue glass. I felt like royalty.
Our meal actually started with an appetizer which was very good! The salad had a sweet dressing on it that I liked, and the garlic crackers with dip were absolutely delicious! It was a great way to start the lunch!
For my lunch entree I ordered "Major Domo's Favorite Pie." Aka the pot roast. It was PHENOMENAL. I didn't even need a knife it was so perfect. I remember inhaling this because it was so delicious (and because I knew we had to leave right after our meal.) But WOW I have to say this was probably one of the best choices on that entire menu. Our waiter recommended it and it did not disappoint!
My Mom ordered the "Her Majesty's Catch of the Day" which was Kobie. It was served over angel hair pasta with pomodora sauce. My Mom said that it was excellent! I had a bite and I would like to confirm that it was, indeed, delicious.
We gobbled up our lunches extremely fast because, as I said, we knew we had to leave Disney right after we finished. So we were on speed mode.
Soon the characters started coming around! And when each one entered the room there were literally TWO FAMILIES before us and then we got to meet them! I'm telling you, that table was in the perfect spot!
Also, the Dad at the table next to us took pictures for us every time a princess came around. That was so nice! We really appreciated it!
Our first princess was Snow White! She was... alright. But she sounded like she had laryngitis. So we met a Snow White with a deepish voice. That was definitely a first.
Sleeping Beauty was next and she was SO PRETTY. Like... it's not even fair. I want to be her!! She reminds me so much of that perfect Ariel/Cinderella that we met on my January trip. Maybe it was the same girl. She could literally be every single princess!
Then Ariel was our next character! She was really precious! I absolutely love her dress. I wish I could wear it.
Lastly, Belle came to our table. And I'm sorry... but she seriously looked like she was 30+ years old! She was very good at conversing with us and she stayed in character but it was really awkward meeting her because she was definitely way past the age limit.
So... the next thing that happened was even better than meeting the princesses. What could that possibly be, you ask?
EATING DESSERT!!!!
I ordered the Valrhona Chocolate Mousse. It was absolutely wonderful! It was very fluffy, light and delicious! And that raspberry sauce was GOOD!
Mom got the Almond Cheesecake. DANG that was wonderful. Cheesecake is just such a beautiful thing. She absolutely loved it.
Also, since it was my Mom's birthday, they brought her a BEAUTIFUL birthday cupcake! IT WAS SO PRETTY!
It was so ridiculously delicious OMG. I definitely ate most of it. Usually I don't eat those cupcakes but that time I couldn't restrain myself. The frosting was so good and the cake was so sweet... AH yum. Amazing foods are my biggest weakness, I'm tellin' ya.
They also brought Mom a birthday card!
Blow out the candle and make a wish!
The birthday card was signed by all of the princesses! It was absolutely adorable and so nice of them!
We ate our desserts and finished at 3:09 pm. That was a relatively quick character meal, but it was just what we needed! It couldn't have worked out better!

Yay for Cinderella's royal table!!!! My mom and i LOVE to eat there! It is sooooo good!
Great pictures of the stain glass windows!!!!! I love looking at those! I wish that the whole walkway was all the way more often than just at night but the stage show is a great reason not to be open other times.
Great T-shirts in sir mickey's! I love that one about being under refurbishment, we got that one for my dad we loved it so much!
The sorry girls, i'm taken shirt was pretty funny as well!
Yay for the tiana cookbook! I saw that one when I was last down there at a shop in DTD and i almost got it! actually, i think my mom did get it. I haven't really gotten a chance to do disney cooking since I have been away at school either

You want to hear something funny? My mom and I sat at the same table you were at the last time we went there as well! It really is the best spot in the entire restaraunt! My mom and I spent most of the meal when we weren't eating or meeting characters looking out the window and taking pictures. We actually asked our belle if any of the characters were going to be moving to restaraunts in there areas in fantasyland and supposibly they are going to have belle and ariel be in there own areas of fantasyland once the expansion is done. Speaking of which do you guys get to see the completed expansion when you go in may? That will be awesome if you do!

Al the princesses were beautiful, but I do agree with your Belle opinion. She did look a bit older that normal.

I love Sir Mickey's! They seriously do have awesome and unique clothing! John wanted to get that "Sorry Girls" shirt in December but they didn't have his size. We will have to get it for him in July!

Did you really!? It is the BEST. And oh, that's really interesting to hear! OMG WHAT IF THEY REPLACED BELLE AND ARIEL WITH TIANA AND RAPUNZEL AT THE CASTLE MEAL? Omg I could totally see them doing that. Haha I guess we will have to wait and see! The expansion isn't fully completed but we will be seeing whatever is done in May!

Ahhh it's SO good! I love pot roast and that one was perfect! The other best one is at Liberty Tree Tavern. YUM.

That cupcake was GOOD. Even though it seemed like an ordinary packaged cupcake, there was just something about it that was exceptionally delicious. I loved it. It was probably the beautiful color of the frosting.

The princesses are all gorgeous, especially Sleeping Beauty! But Belle does look...*ahem*...old(er). That's weird!

I had to comment because we brought our 20 month old daughter in February and we met the same Sleeping Beauty and she made the whole trip. She was so amazing with our daughter ...

The referbished shirt is too funny! Aw I love the UP castle one too.
We just got a puppy in the last few weeks and at the dog park we met a dog called Dug who is literally like Dug in the movie. SO cute!
Jaq and Gus Gus are so adorable! Makes me want to watch Cinderella again!

Yeah she really is. That girl was beautiful! Yeah, I feel like that lady who has played Belle has been working there forever or something because I don't think they would hire here at her current age, you know? Disney casting is just really confusing.

Oh no! It's so close to ending!! Good thing there's another TR up & coming! Haha I totally get the Phillharmagic, it's honestly like, the greatest attraction in Fantasyland, I love it so so so so so much! And the automagically is amazing!! I just love the castle! Gah! CRT's is such a nice place to eat, and nice job getting the adr a week before hand! That takes talent! The lunch menu looks delicous, and that the desserts I know are amazing! Hooly talk about that Aurora, she's so pretty!!

I forgot that they closed all those stores back then! I remember ours was supposed to close but then they changed it. That's horrible that ALL of your stores were closed.
Since I've been reading your trip reports since the summer, I've finally decided to be one of those people who writes a long response to comment a bunch. Cause that's fun.
I remember I used to love those mosaics when we used to walk through the castle! I love all the little details.
I love the UP castle shirt! So precious!
I actually thought about buying a Disney cookbook when we were there in August, but then I figured my mom would never let me cook anything. So I didn't. I wish I could enjoy Disney food in the comfort of my own home.
I haven't eaten at CRT since I was almost 3 years old. I wish I could go back.
I love all the little perks you get for eating there! The invitation, menu, wand, and card are all so cool.
IS THAT PROSCIUTTO ON THE SALAD? Please excuse my frump attack, but I loooooooove prosciutto. Yummmm.
Belle definitely looks older. I didn't know there was an age limit to play a princess. I think that if you look young like the princess, you should be allowed to play her. But that's just me.
Mmmmmmm those desserts look good.
So sad you have to leave soon, but at least there's another trip to hear about right after!

The puffed french toast and the yogurt with fruit is amazing!

PhilharMagic IS probably the best thing in Fantasyland, if not one of the top attractions in the Magic Kingdom!
CRT is such a nice place to eat, I can't believe I got a reservation! I was so happy! Mmm everything tasted great! And that Aurora was perfect!

Those are SUCH gorgeous pictures all around the castle! I have never had time to walk through the castle and really look at the mosaics, because there are always so many people around! They're so beautiful though, I really must make a note to do that!
