Your Celeb Sightings?

I'm not a star-struck kind of person, but after reading about the DIS'er that spotted Adam Sandler in Toon Town {}...I was just curious about others' celeb sightings???

Back in -- I wanna say 1993 -- we saw Stevie Wonder being led to the little roller coaster in Toon Town. (Was it called something else back then?) Anyway, so now I have movie footage of Stevie Wonder riding a roller coaster!

I saw John Stamos and a really attractive woman he was walking with. They were being lead around by CM, going under the Toon Town bridge.

Interesting thing about both Stamos and the woman: in real life they looked AMAZING! Usually you hear about seeing celebs who don't look as good in real life as they do in mags and on tv. But in the case of these two, my jaw nearly dropped. I'm not into men- and certainly not into Stamos- but I was like: my God, that's like one of the most attractive people I've ever seen. And the woman looked like she just stepped out of a magazine. You see them both and it makes so much sense why they are famous/well known: they really do look 'better' than normal folks.

It was really, really odd. But good for those two I suppose

Last November we saw Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters in PFF. He had a paper crown on his head and was watching his cute little girl run around before storytime. Dh is a HUGE fan. It took all he had to not go up to him. But they did make eye contact and DH gave him a thumbs up and Dave gave him a chin nod- very cool

My niece and Brother in law saw Selena Gomez when we were there in June and we Saw Guy Fieri from diners drive in's and dives on one of our trip I do not remember what one.

Last summer, we saw Jorge Garcia, the big guy with the long curly hair from Lost. He was sitting next to us in the Tiki Room. He and his family/group were being escorted by a CM.

On Sunday, 10/25/09, I saw Travis Barker (Blink-182) and his family standing in front of the Buzz Lightyear ride, waiting for his special CM handlers to clear the fastpass ride so he and his family could walk through. I would never have noticed him if it weren't for the CMs surrounding him.

That's so funny! I bet a lot of celebs could go unnoticed if they didn't draw attention to themselves by having CMs accompany them.

I agree. In fact it was the two "plaids" standing in the smoking area of NOS, with around 5 scruffy 20-somethings that drew my attention and made me realize that it was K-Fed (before he gained all that weight, but after his divorce) and some friends.

Anyway, this summer I saw Dog the Bounty Hunter's wife Beth in California Adventure with a CM, and while the rest of our party was waiting for us to come out of the Toy Story ride, Dog and family walked by. My mom got to see him but I was still on the ride.

When I saw Beth my first thought was, "Hey, she looks like Dog's wife".

I know I wouldn't ever notice anyone if it wasn't for the plaids but if I see plaids I immediately look to see if I recognize anyone. Acutally, I usually poke DH and tell him to look because he recognizes people better than I do but most of the time we can't tell who it is.

We walked right by Guy Fieri in the Sunshine Plaza at DCA. It was croweded through that area so we were inches away as we passed by. DH has also spotted David Arquette. I think that was in NOS. I know DH has seen some others but I can't remember who now. I guess it wasn't anyone I knew.

That's how we saw Dave! I saw the plaids and started looking. And- viola!- there he was!

I have posted some of this before but we have seen a couple celebs on different trips.

Once we saw Hugh Hefner and his (at the time) seven girlfriends.

We saw Christian Bale and his family on Toy Story Mania with a Plaid. Gorgeous family...his daughter was so cute! I didn't recognize him until he took off his sunglasses and smiled. Then we knew it was BATMAN!

And I too saw John Stamos and a beautiful woman on his arm. They were not with a CM and I really didn't recognize him, I was looking at the woman who was very pretty. Then I looked at the man, he had a baseball cap on and the look right at me smiled and said "Hi" - I about fainted when I realized it was John Stamos. He was gorgeous...and undeniably it was him. I was walking behind my family for some reason and they didn't even notice him...I ran to DH and told him what happened...I still get chills when I think about it! lol.

When I saw Adam Sandler he didnt have any CM's by him. It seemed like we were the only ones who noticed him, everybody was walking right by him and some were sitting right next to were he was and didnt even notice. That was really funny to me, like I know a secret everybody there didnt know. Haha.

I saw Lindsey Lohan in Sept 2008 in front of the Haunted Mansion, it was the day it opened with the holiday decorations. Had to do a double take to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Looked like she was having a good time.
