This thread is going to be for ALL winning people in the Year of a million dreams. If you have gone to the park and won something, please post it here!

Although, I would like the reply to consist of the following:
1. what you won.
2. how you won it.
3. where you won it.

Let's Begin!

This is a great idea. The other thread about winnig stuff got way too long and a bit off track.

FYI...If you want to subscribe to this thread, no need to post 'subscribing'. Just go up to "Thread Tools" and choose "Subscribe to this Thread". Simple as that! :thumbsup2

They had already started giving things out last week. I was on the KTTK on Friday and someone on the tour had won an un-birthday they day before. (It was a free dinner, sorry I couldn't hear what restaurant)

Any winners out there yet??? :Pinkbounc

edit: nevermind, I just saw the other HUGE winner thread lolol.

I agree that that thread is a bit long and I really dont want to go and read all those posts. :confused3

well not only that but its past experiences of pixie dust, some from years ago some from weeks ago and some from in between.

I was purchasing an ap outside of epcot yesterday and the cast member gave me a tinkerbell pin which was on a 2 part card and consisted of 2 pins. One was for me and the other was to share.

My mother was approached and was given a different birthday buttonand the cast member wrote her name on it with a sharpie.

My best friend and her dd were given a backstage tour after riding Mission Space.

While in line to ride Soarin a family was chossen to ride first class.

It was very cool to receive and witness some magic.

Just wanted to say I'm glad you all notice and appreciate the little things that have been going on so far. A lot of the time, CM's do things like you all have pointed out, and guests are just kind of like, "ok, c-ya later." So it's cool to know that these things make your stay a little more fun :)

I posted this on the other thread, but here is what we witnessed today at Disneyland.

We went to Disneyland today. It was incredibly crowded, but lots of fun. We didnt have anything extra special happen to us, but we did see a few things.

We saw a young family grabbed from the masses on Main St. and escorted down towards the firestation and then inside. Not sure what they 'GOT' but there were 4 men in light blue suits with them and they were all SMILING ear to ear.

We also saw a group of people snagged from the LONG line at Indiana Jones, and taken up to the front of the line.

We heard about some families getting free parking. We also heard about people who were given free desserts after their meals at the Plaza Restaurant.

At California Adventure: MANY people had lanyards with YOAMD Fastpass Passes attached. It appeared to be good for the entire day at that one park (California Adventure). Kinda cool.

So some magical things are happening

We were in the ABC Commissary on Monday (10/2) in MGM when they rang a bell and raised a little flag and everyone who was at a register ordering got their orders for free. (Not us unfortunately).

This YOAMD is such a great idea, everyone seems to be being "nicer" to each other and to the hard working CMS. I bet this is so much nicer for the CMs, to be able to give out small magical bits of pixie dust.

We leave tomorrow.................... cant wait !!!

I saw a boy get a large cc cookie at the Main Street Bakery on 9/29, saw a teenage girl win a jacket or shirt (can't remeber which) in one of the gift shops for spotting hidden mickeys and I saw an unbirthday celebrated on the tea cups.
When we were getting fast passes for Test Track it spit out surprise fast passes for Mission Space but I don't know if that was special or something that sometimes happens.

10/01 in the afternoon we were at MGM going on the Great Movie ride. Our car was about half full. The whole car received a paper fastpass from the ride attendant that did not expire until 12/15/06. It was good for any fastpass attraction at this park only. We weren't coming back; so, we used it on the same day for TOT. This was not done by the dream squad; it was the regular CM at this ride.

We witnessed someone receiving a dream fastpass for Epcot (good for all fastpass rides there) as you exited the Mission Space ride on 10/02 in the early morning. Again, this was a regular cast member doing it. My friend noticed the CM was counting outloud and this person a few people ahead of us won it.

We saw a family have dream fastpasses on the same day while waiting for the test track ride. We talked to them and they said they received them out by Innoventions.

This is all we saw on the four days there for us.

Good luck to all!

My Daughter was walking along at AK and a regular cast member gave her two special dream pins, one to keep and one to share. She had to give the extra one to a total stranger to make someone elses day.

WE WON DREAM FASTPASSES pixiedust: WE were at Epcot on 10/02. There were four of us in the fast pass line for Test Track. They only put about 20 of us in the briefing room part of the queing area. Then about 4 or 5 Cast Members in white vests entered the room, closed the doors and informed us we had all won a Dream Fast Pass, they were hard plastic passes on a lanyard and on each one there were 6 little tabs you pulled off for the following rides: Mission Space, Test Track, Soarin', Maelstrom, Living with the Land and Honey I Shrunk the Audience. They were only good for that day. It was exciting winning them. The park was not very busy and some of the rides were not even operating a fast pass lane, but when we showed them our Dream Fast Pass, they opened up the fast pass line and we went right to the front of the line, pretty cool.

Yay! It is possible! Someone from the DIS can win! :dance3:

seems as though they're embracing "random acts of kindness" & asking guests to "pass it on":)

On October 2nd me and another Diser were in MGM Studios- we were walking up from the back of the park and she suggested we do star tours since we were right there.

We got in line and boarded the car and before it started the doors opened back up and in walked the dream team... they asked us about our day and told us about the YOAMD program and passed out the Dream Fast Passes. These are plastic cards with pop off tabs around them- they work for the one day in the single park and are one fast pass to each attraction that offers fast passes. They actually forgot our row until I spoke up and asked if we all got them.

On the way out we saw that all the people who had been in the gift shop had received dream ears too. One man offered to trade his ears for the fast pass lol...
