yay! we have our tickets ....but wrong names on tags!

Our tickets arrived here in the UK today....yay!!! .....just read thru the documents and although most are ok, the luggage tags (which now are barcoded) are for someone else's family!!!! Presumably someone out there has ours!

We've emailed Dreams who we booked thru, but we're not sure they can get it sorted in time for when we leave next week. Any ideas what we should do anyone??

wait to hear from DU...don't put the tags on until you get to the terminal, then explain it at check-in..maybe they can give you new tags

The porters at the terminal can give you different tags (you will have to hand write the info) but it can be done.

If you are taking a DCL bus with luggage transfers...you could leave them alone and just retrieve them from the cabin they were brought to, or claim the luggage yourself at the airport and find a cruise rep to get you new tags and then they can load them on the truck to the port.

UKANGEL, can you please tell me what exactly did you receive? We are waiting for our documents too, but aren´t sure of what to expect. When are you leaving? We are cruising Oct 30th, hope the papers get on time!

Oh dear, you better print out on your internet which show on dream unlimitedand and bring it with you, in case.

Hopeful it is sort out asap. If not, bring copy with you.

You might want to call DCL and see what they tell you. They might be able to issue you new bag tags and send them out before you leave home.

I'm pretty sure DCL will be able to help you.

thanks everyone for th replies. We're waiting for an email back from Dreams....

Ponytail......you get a little 'packet' that has a booklet with info on the cruises, some forms to be completed, a couple of leaflets about Tux rental etc...oh and the luggage tags of course!
