Has anyone been to this resort? I have seen many posts on it from people who have booked, but was wondering what you thought of it once you got back. How are the pools? I am using our Wyndham by Request perks, so hopefully that will get us something extra for our room. Any suggestions on requesting a room location? From what I understand, there are many buildings, so is there one to request to be more "centrally located?" Thanks!

We stayed there in 9/00 on a $16/nt. Priceline bid and loved it! Three great heated pools, a kiddie pool, hot tub, on site restaurant (although we didn't try this out), Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Parlor next to the pool, babysitting club service, etc. etc. We had a room close to the back of the resort which was no problem for us because we have a car. I've heard that others without access to a car request rooms close to the front of the resort. We also used our Wyndham by Request program card and got a basket of fruit, beer, water, soft drinks, etc.

Our room was SPOTLESS! The beds were very comfortable, new and clean.

We had a slight problem with their on-demand movie system and they had to send someone out to our room 2x to fix it, but they credited our room for 3 movies for our trouble.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place!

Thanks for the info. I have also heard that there is quite a bit of construction going on. Is this close to the Wyndham and will it effect getting to Disney? How much time should we allow for travel? Thanks!

I was just there last month! Stayed for a week, and loved the hotel!!!
We didn't have a car, so we requested a room close to the front. It was a bit smaller than the original room we got in the back. If you have a car, i recommend staying at one of the farther back buildings. You get your own little "balcony" area and the rooms are larger.

And I didn't notice any construction that was going on.

Have a great time!!!!!!! :D

I have a reservation here in July. Im wondering where to ask for a room Was thinking to ask for a room near the main pool. Anyone know if this is a good location. I also have a car and wouldn't mind being near parking. Don't mind a little noise or traffic. Any advise?? :D

We stayed there last spring via Priceline. We also had a room towards the back, but it was right near the pool. The place was under some construction, but it didn't seem to be much of a nuisance. The room was very clean, the service quite friendly. We would definitely stay there again! ;)

Another vote for the Wyndham on IDrive we were there over Christmas and moved there from the Holiday inn across the road because we didn't like it.

The Wyndham was excellent, the rooms were really cleanand comfortable, the staff were very helpful and the location was excellent. I would definately stay again!!
