Would you change resorts to AKL for one night to go to Sunrise Safari?

I know my dh would really love the Sunrise Safari. We are already staying at the Poly Club level so we can do the Wildlife Discovery Excursion. Is the Sunrise Safari so much better that you would recommend staying at the AKL for one night?

I would not change resorts for one night to do the Sunrise Safari. The Wildlife Discovery Excursion is almost exactly the same safari as the AKL Sunrise Safari, except for the delicious buffet breakfast. The WDE takes place while the Kilimanjaro Safari is in operation. The trucks pull off the path so that the ride can pass them.

I would not do a split stay to do sunrise safari - HOWEVER - we typically stay at the GF, we are staying at AKL this Summer, one of the reasons was sunrise safari.
