First of all let me say, I'm not Happy to be home!!!!! We had an absolutely wonderful time!

Day 1- We got to the terminal around 11:30 and boarded the ship around noon, I thought it was very quick. I had thought returning cruisers got to board first, but not that way anymore, everyone just got in line, but it went fairly quickly, so it wasn't such a big deal. Since we got to board early we went straight up to Beach Blanket Buffet and starting our cruise with boiled shrimp and lots of other yummy stuff. We were lucky enough to find 2 tables outside on the verrandah. We were travelling with 10 people (me (DW), DH, DD (10), DD (15), DD (15), DS (15), MIL, SIL, Uncle, and MIL friend. After a quick bite to eat I rushed over to make Spa reservations, I arrived around 12:45, they open at 1:00, I was 2nd in line, Yeah!!!!! I ran and got me my first beer and ran back to line, still 2nd. I couldn't believe it. Ok, let me forwarn you about making revs...I learned from this board that I could decline the Tour (they WANT you to do the Tour), I told the man in front of me I was going to decline so everyone around me said yeah I just want revs. We had to be very forceful that we didn't want the tour, but we accomplished our mission and were escorted quickly through the area to make revs. This is where it got hairy. There were 3 different areas to make various revs, make sure when you get in a line, ask what it is for before just standing there it might not be the line you want! Ok, got all that done!!! I'm through and ready to relax!

All the kids were already roaming the ship and checking things out, DD10 and DD15 had already hit the goofy pool and I was ready to check and see if we could get into our room, yep around 1:45 we were there. Didn't have bags yet, but they arrived by around 2:30.

We started to gather up on Deck 10 for the Sailaway, it was awesome, the smoke stack started smoking and we settled in for the next hour or so just chatting and enjoying life.

Be sure to look towards the terminal as you sail away, there will be Mickey Hands waving at you, very cool!

Ok, now we're off to get ready, I always have everyone dressed for dinner when we go to the show, that way no one has to do any running around. We have 2nd seating (which I had requested) our rotation was AAPT. We attended the Hercules show and it was fabulous, I really like how they add in little adult humor here and there.

We had dinner at Animator's Palate the first night and had Goran and Jorge as waiters, they were extraordinary. We loved them!!!!! DD15 was already getting sick so I had to put the patch on her and DS15 couldn't make it to dinner ended up getting a migraine. The seas were pretty rough 12-15 waves. They assured us as soon as we passes Key West around 11:30 it would get better. They were right. I asked our waiter if he could send up a dinner to DS in the room, he said "No, Problem" and actually took it up to him himself and came back and reassured me that he was doing ok. What a wonderful server Goran was.

After dinner, DH and I attended the 70's night party, what a hoot!!!!! I got picked to be a participant and ended up winning a travel mug. DH thought it served me right since I'm always acting so silly.

Ok, I'll post Day 2 separately since these ended up so long!!!
