WL to Hollywood studios How long?

Debating whether to drive straight to Hollywood Studios from home or to check in 1st and take the bus. We will already be behind because HS should be done at rope drop if you have hopes of TSM.
We will probably arrive at WL at 9:45

I would allot about 45 minutes to get from WL to DHS...it might be less if you're lucky and don't have to wait long for the bus at WL. Driving would be faster.

As for TSM, I think it largely depends on when you're going. It's been a bit, but the last time we rode it during September 2009 (Value season) we were still able to get FP for mid-afternoon around 11:00 am. Good luck!

We stayed at WL late Oct and rode the bus twice to HS. Pretty sure both trips were under 30 minutes each to actually get there but you never know how long you'll have to wait for the bus. Also went on TSM 3 times..1st waited in line slightly less than an hour in the late afternoon...2nd was first thing when we got to the park(10amish) waited about 45min...3rd fast passes same afternoon, waited about :40min(ride was having issues)
