Will we be able to get on Star Tours?

What have the wait times been like since the new 'Star Tours' reopened? We are going the 1st week of December so the wait times in general shouldn't be as long.

What have the stand-by wait times been? ~
and~
Will we be able to even get a fastpass or do they run out pretty early?
(sometimes we don't get to the theme park until about noon)

You should have no problems getting on. Wait times aren't generally that high and FP haven't been running out early at all. Heck, opening weekend we got on once with FP and a second time with about a 30 minute wait. They can really move people through there. Enjoy!

We went during a busy time and the longest we saw was 40 minutes and we had no trouble getting fastpasses. We rode three times that day - it's a hoot!

My daughter and I went down to DHS this past Thursday after she got out of school. We got there around 3:30 pm. We got Rock'n Rollercoaster FPs first and rode that standby, too, as standby was only a half hour. Strolled over to Star Tours and darn near walked on to it three times in a row.

Mind you -- it was barely drizzling on the way over to Star Tours, and raining a moderate amount after our first ride. The park may have emptied out a bit. However, we've not had much trouble riding it any other time we've gone by recently. Even in July and August it wasn't too awfully bad, and FPs were still to be had fairly late in the day.

If anything, the rain seemed to make the line longer, not shorter, to tell you the truth. Our first ride was basically a "walk all the way up to loading" thing. The next two (which we did to see more destinations, but also to try to wait out the rain) had longer lines of people also wanting to get inside a building and escape the rain.

Good luck, may you have the destinations that you'll enjoy the most. :)

We were there on the official opening day of Star Tours and waited less than an hour, so I doubt you will have any problems.

We were there last week and there was NO wait time immediately following the 8:30 Fantasmic show. We went 3 times in a row. Great ride!!!

On August 19 we did a very typical touring plan of TSM at RD, RnR standby immediatley after that, followed by ToT standby and then walked over to Star Tours. So we got there at 10:45. At that time, our wait (timed, not posted), was 22 minutes. On December 1, you will probably do better than us.

The new Star Tours was a huge hit for our family. It's 1000 percent better. There was no wait and we wanted to ride it again but had to get to over to Fantasmic. Have fun. :goodvibes

Just returned home from 10 days at the world! We rode Star Tours 3x at 6pm one night with ZERO WAIT!!! A Total walk on!!! Sooooo much better than the old ride!! LOVE it!!! :cool1:

Waiting in line for Star Tours is definitely not something you need to worry about. =)
