Will I ever feel hungry again after doing the deluxe dining???

We landed and checked into the POFQ and yeah our room was ready:banana::banana: We picked up our mugs and dropped our carryons in our room and headed straight to EPCOT as we were starving.

We had a 1:05 reservation for Le Cellier and we were able to check in early:cool1:

Panic ordered the Red Maple smoothie for her beverage and this was awesome - I had a diet coke.
P9170032-1.jpg

I did forget to take a picture of the bread but we all know and love what that amazing pretzel bread looks like - the bread was served to us warm and we dove right in:rotfl:

Panic had the Cheddar Cheese soup which we had when we ate here in December and we loved it.
P9170035-1.jpg

I had the Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage for my appetizer - I don't like very spicy foods and this had a little kick to it. I did like it but not sure I would order it again.
P9170034-1.jpg

Panic had the steak and potato skillet for her main course which she enjoyed.
P9170037-1.jpg

I knew I had to try the famous Le Cellier house burger this time. I have read on blogs that this is the best burger on property and they are so right!!! It was the best burger I have ever had:love::love: and it was painful to leave part of it on the plate but I knew if I finished everything I ordered this week none of my clothes would fit by the end of the week.
P9170036-1.jpg

Onto Dessert - Panic tried the Bumbleberry Cobbler and it came with cheesecake ice cream and she was surprised she liked it because we are not cheesecake people (I know what kind of women are we???)
P9170040-1.jpg

I tried the Chocolate Moose and loved it.

Le Cellier was an amazing way to start out our week of dining!! The service was awesome - our server was Jill and she was great. We rolled out of there back into the heat and saw the movie.

I'm in..can't wait to read all about it.

Welcome - hope you enojoy!

Looking forward to your reviews. That's alot of food. popcorn::

It was a lot of food and most of it was great!!

Looking forward to your reviews! I have the same goals as your daughter! We have stayed at most of the Deluxe Resorts and are working thru the others. We hit a few new dining spots this past trip but still have quite a few more to go!

I think we will be able to more of the deluxe when Panic starts making some real money and can help pay for the trips:lmao:

count me in :goodvibes

Welcome!!

Love the title! I can tell you when we left WDW in May after the deluxe dining plan we didn't eat for like 2 days when we went to Universal afterwards :lmao:

I know Sunday once I got home I ate next to nothing and basically have only had lunch everyday to make up for Disney!

Looks great. Can't wait to hear.

Hope you enjoy!
Cannot wait to read all about it!

My daughter texted me when you replied to see if I had seen that you posted and I was hadn't and was so excited that the queen of Disdining was joining! We love your reviews and have actually been in places and have said MickeyNicki either liked this or didn't!! I don't know how you have the time or energy to do live reports!

Three days later....are you hungry yet? ;)

No - not really but I do know if I smelled Magic Kingdom popcorn I would be!

Can't wait to read the reviews!!

Hope you enjoy them!

We are doing DxDP next Dec when we go. Looking forward to reading your report :)

I did enjoy the DxDP but do not ever think we will do it again because it is a LOT of food but it was nice to do a bunch of the signature places.

Subscribing! Can't wait to read and see your reviews!

Hope everyone enjoys!

In! We were at Disney the same dates you were, and ate at some of the same places, so I'm really interested in hearing your thoughts!:thumbsup2

Love to hear your thoughts too!

Looking forward to it!

It's coming - I promise!
I'm in and ready to read all about this fabulous trip !! We did the same week last year for my birthday!!! So happy belated birthday!!! :goodvibes

Thanks - this was the first time we ever went in September.

I'm the DD, referred above as Panic. And I can honestly say, I've never eaten so much in my LIFE! So much food!!

Ahh - the love of my life:love:

Enjoy - a little popcorn might show up in the trip!

Those are adorable where did you find them?

I picked them up at our local Shop-Rite in NJ. I work in the produce industry and a couple of years ago I had seen them launched at a trade show but hadn't seen them in any stores until the night before our trip so they were meant to be eaten by us:rotfl: Mine was apple slices, cheese and pretzels and Panic had carmel dipping sauce instead of pretzels in hers.

Great review of LC...we are going to give dinner a try now that it is signature, at DH's request...personally I want to go back to Yachtsman but I had to throw the boy a bone since I picked all the rest of the reservations :rotfl2:

We are headed back three weeks from tomorrow and we are still on the fence about bringing the computer. I think we will have to do it since there is no way I am going to remember 10 days worth of food :lmao:

After lunch we walked around Canada and United Kingdom and then did something we never do when we are Disney -we went back to the hotel to rest because we were so tired and we knew we would be out late that night because we were meeting a couple of people from my Florida office for dinner that night.
We took a taxi over to the Boardwalk about an hour before we were to meet my co-workers for dinner so we could explore a bit and we knew we wanted to spend some snack credits at the
P9170067.jpg

We picked out the following and these were our breakfasts for the next two mornings. The bakery was great too - they let us purchase what we wanted and they put it in the fridge until we were done with dinner. This was great because by the time we were done with dinner they were sold out of cupcakes!

Yummy Blueberry muffin!
P9170091.jpg

Chocolate chip muffin!

OMG - strawberry shortcake cupcake:love:

Mickey little cake:goodvibes

Ooh yummy treats from BWI bakery...thats awesome because that where we are staying LOL!

Todd is probably the only person that could get a walk up for dinner at Le Cellier if you didn't make him a reservation! Jealous that you are going for food and wine - we haven't done it since 2003 but you know how they leave those lovely bounce back offers in your hotel..........well next year we are since we got another free dining offer for September:cool1:
I am finding it hard to remember all the food and what we thought - I had even brought a notebook with us to take notes that I ended up leaving in the hotel room everyday because the less you carry the happy you are:laughing:

Those treats from Boardwalk Bakery look amazing! Sadly, we didn't get to visit it during our trip... that's going on the "next things to see" list for certain!

That pretzel bread really is amazing.... especially dipped in the cheese soup!:cloud9:

Day One Dinner - Flying Fish

We met up with four of my co-workers for dinner at Flying Fish. I did not take pictures of their food - it was hard enough sneaking in pictures of our food - you know how some people do not get our fatuation with Disney food??? So I only have pictures of our food when I could be supplying you with food porn from six.
Flying Fish was one that Panic and I went back and forth on our list. For the longest time we had dinner on our list as Yachtsman and then a couple of reviews pulled me more towards Flying Fish and I convinced Panic to change where we ate.:rotfl: I do not like fish - well maybe if I tried it I might like it but most of the fish I have run into smells. Panic said she wanted to try some fish this trip.

We had awesome service from Michael and we were seated back under the tent and had an awesome time!

We started the night out with:
P9170077.jpg

Panic had the Cotton Candy Martini and thought it was very, very good:cool1:

P9170076.jpg

I started my vacation with two of these lovely beauties - the Blood Orange Margarita and all I can say is

Panic had the Shrimp Cocktail appetizer and loved it because I did not get a bite (I do like shrimp cocktail)
P9170080.jpg

I decided to be brave and try something new and ordered their signature Crab Cake - it was a little to spicy for me and one my co-workers ended up eating it.
P9170081.jpg

Panic kept her word and ordered a fish dish - she tried the Salmon dish and thought it was okay - a couple of bites were really "fishy". One of my co-workers had ordered the Red Snapper and Panic wished she had ordered that.
I actually took a little bite of the snapper and didn't hate it:lmao:
P9170082.jpg

Since I am not a fish person I of course ordered the NY Strip Steak and all I can say is WOW - they know how to make a great steak. Again it pained me to leave some on the plate.
P9170083.jpg

Panic tried the signature Napoleon (she actually has a cat named Napoleon)
and said it had a different texture than most Napoleons and thought it was very good - I don't remember trying it but then again I had two of the margaritas!:rotfl:
P9170085.jpg

I went with the Dessert Trio for dessert.
P9170084.jpg

The Popcorn mousse and camel corn was light and fluffy.
The Crunchy peanut butter -chocolate whoopie pie was the best and it all made it's way into my tummy:rotfl::rotfl:
I believed I just had a lick of the cherry-limeade popsicle and it was good - the Whoopie Pie took all my love.

We would be eat here again in a heartbeat - everything was amazing!!! Our first day of dining was totally amazing ---- would all the places follow suit???

Ooh yummy treats from BWI bakery...thats awesome because that where we are staying LOL!

It looks like an amazing place to stay - except for the creepy chair in the lobby. I can't decide if I would stay at the BW first or the WL when I make it to the DLX hotels.

Welcome!!

subbing, sounds great.

Hope you enjoy!

Those treats from Boardwalk Bakery look amazing! Sadly, we didn't get to visit it during our trip... that's going on the "next things to see" list for certain!

I too wanted to stop here on my last couple of trips and didn't - believe this will be a repeat every trip from now on - it is a great way to spend snack credits and everything there looking yummy!

That pretzel bread really is amazing.... especially dipped in the cheese soup!:cloud9:

That is the good thing about the small tables at Le Cellier - it is so easy to reach across and dip your bread in the other person's soup:lmao:

Subbing................Great list of Restaurant, 6 of which we will be eating at in March

Everything looked so good in the pictures, we are doing Le Cellier for lunch DH likes the looks of that skillet. I am glad we are not staying in the Epcot area, those sweets from BW Bakery looked to die for and FF yum might have to give them a try sometime.

deluxe dining is a dream for me!

Like you, I don't care for fish. And if I do like it (I do love the fish and chips in England) - it has to be mild fish. Salmon is my least favorite - it's one of the "fishiest" - you should try cod or the snapper was a good choice, too.

I am looking forward to the rest of your reviews - inspire me to try some new places! ;)

Your reviews are very good, thanks for putting in the effort. You visited many of the places that I'll visit in about 9 days, so I'm very excited to see the rest of the story.

Cheers!
