We are wanting to extend our current reservation by one more day. We currently have a room booked with the 30% RO discount, however there are no more rooms available at our resort with the discount (only a different/higher category room at the regular rate). If we add this room I know we will have to switch rooms for the last night (not a big deal). But I am wondering if it will be considered a split stay due to the change in rate/category and if I will have to put down another deposit for the extra days/new room category? It would be nice if it would all be under the same reservation and thus no new deposit. Anyone know?

Yes, if you book a different room category for that last night, it will be a separate reservation and will require another deposit.

Yes, it is two different reservations. I actually check into POFQ on 9/27 this week....and then again on 9/29 :rolleyes2

I had to do that because this years mil discount ends 9/28 and the new one starts 9/29...

So I did two reservations with two deposits in order to get my discount on both. :goodvibes
