Wilderness cabin " bungalows"

Just was able to view plans on the water management website showing 26 stand alone cabins along the shore line of WL. Not in the water like the bungalows, but along the shore line.

I work in change control at my company and am used to it. But, when it comes to my beloved Wilderness Lodge please don't change it so much that it looses the true Wilderness feel and charm!! PLEASE!

I would love to see more options at the WL, but I hope it is not at the same expense as the Poly Bungalows. They pretty much have priced them above what I am will to use my points for.

Very cool! The zoomed in pictures really interesting. Lots of potential here!

We just ferried over to Wilderness Lodge and noticed that the furtherest cabins that will have the fireworks view on the west side will be near the monorail and World Drive. And it appears the path to Ft. Wilderness will be gone unless a walkway behind the cabins is added. Also it might be easier for the end cabins on the east side to get to the lobby at Wilderness Lodge by taking a path that goes out to road that leads up the resort.

I guess the days of seeing deer grazing in the woods while sitting on my balcony at VWL are over.

DVC Jen - i know. One of my most favorite things is watching all the wildlife. I really hope all the new construction (if it happens) doesnt spoil that.

On another note, any updates on whether VWL are getting some rooms in the lodge like once reported? I actually prefer the lodge to the DVC area.
