Why is the CSR shutting down?

What's the deal with the CSR shutting down?

Coronado isn't shutting down, Caribbean Beach (CBR) is. They are redoing the restaurant/food court.

It's CBR shutting down for a rehab of the common areas, Old Port Royale and the restaurant. CSR is open and being used as a substitute. I've stayed at both and loved them in different ways.
I think Oct-mid Dec is the slowest consecutive time to do a major rehab, so I'm sure that is why this was the chosen time.
