We are we are!! Mother/ son Pirate vacation. CBR Pirates room, Pirates and pals cruise, pirates league makeovers !!! August 8-15!! Can't wait!

I've never been to Disney in August. I hear it's going to be hot - any suggestions for beating the heat? Or at least coping with it?

46 more days for us. Flying down to the GF 8/19-8/26.

I have been to Disney in July for the last three years. I have found that it was actually cooler there than in Connecticut at that time. No so this year here!

Tips to keep cool in August - duck into the shops to cool off and drink plenty of water. Take a break mid-day, if you can, and go back to your hotel for a swim to cool off.

August 1-8 CBR.
We are actually having a grand gathering that includes my 91 year old Grandma. We really wanted Poly but could not get 4 rooms on the 4/3 deal (nor could we get boardwalk or beachclub) when I called in March sooo staying at CBR and hope it is as wonderful as some of the pictures and posts have made it look.
