Gift shops and cs locations all over WDW. People hve tried to maintain lists but they become too long and change too frequently. If you are interested in VM trading the best thing to do is just keep a couple on you and participate as you run into trading locations.

Totally agree with Fig Newton. Our DD11 really go into this on our trip in Oct. Also, resorts trade but only at specific times. There is also a vinylmation store at DTD and the staff there is by far the most knowledgeable. Also, ask before you trade how the person does it as at one spot you could see the trade and then if you didn't like it you could keep your original at others you could make two trades etc. The inconsistency happened at the same stands,so it just seemed to depend on the person doing the trade. It was lots of fun.

It seems most stores that sell them do the trading, so I would ask if you were at one and interested. If they do not do it most can tell you the closest place. I think the rule is supposed to be once you start a trade you have to complete it. You can choose the ones in the clear case you can see are in the mystery case. But it does vary according to the cast member. We have had some offer us another trade or that we could keep ours, when they could tell DD was disapointed. We have even had some ask us what we are looking for and they have looked in every box to see if they had it. One thing about it if you get one you don't like you can always trade it again.

Hi All!


We just returned from WDW and did a bunch of trading. I used this list that PhantomVirus posted over on the collectors board. It was very accurate. As the PP said...ask the rules of trade at each location. They do vary...some places allowed up to three doors to be opened...some made you give up your trade immediately...and some just opened up the entire box and let you look! The Frontierland Trading Post in MK had a huge variety of boxes and Vinylmations...and the castmembers were great! Also...the Space Mountain Arcade was a good trading spot...and they had a large selection of Vinymations to purchase. The Stage 1 Company store in HS is also a very friendly place. We always just carried several Vinylmations with us each time we went into the parks.

You don't need the card or box--just the figure. And to add to the list above, I know that in addition to the 3 locations listed at Downtown Disney, you can also trade at Disney Quest, Art of Disney, Once Upon a Toy, and the Pin Trading Station.
