When/how to pay for DDP

We are doing the DDP for the first time thru DVC. Am I right in understanding that we pay for the DDP upon check-in?
Also, do you have to pay this bill with a credit card or will they take cash or a travellers check for paymnent upon check-in. I would so prefer not to have to put that amount on a credit card?

You do pay upon check in and I am pretty sure they take any form of payment.

Yes, you will pay at check in. You must pay for all members of your party, even if they haven't arrived yet. Cash and travelers checks will be fine.

Just don't show up with the DDP money all in pennies. They may not take thousands of pennies.
