Wheelchair?

My family is staying at the Dolphin hotel and I have a few questions. My grandfather had a major heart problem in the last few months and can only walk a block or so. He doesn't plan to go to any of the parks, but wants to see us. Is there a wheelchair he can rent at the hotel or close to Disney to make moving aorund easier? We were thinking of pushing him around the Boardwalk area. He insists he doesn't want to go to the parks, but I think he would enjoy the Boardwalk area. It's only for 2 days. In al honesty he should be at home resting as he was back int he hosptial last week again, but he is determined to go and wants us to go and see him during meals and on a few of the off days.

You should consider renting a wheelchair or ECV for the duration of the trip. He may actually enjoy seeing World Showcase at Epcot, more than Boardwalk - it is worth considering. Not only are the parks large, but the resorts and the distances between parking areas and entrances are also substantial, so you will probably want to have a wheelchair that you can take with you in the car. If you stay onsite, you can get a wheelchair from your resort for free on a first-come first-serve basis. Or, you can rent one by the week from on of the offsite companies such as
