What's cool about your state or country?

Hahaha :-) It's just, the West Coast is the only one with the major fault line that hasn't had a huge earthquake in-whatever-amount-of-time so I heard people were all freaking out about it

New York- Do you like the Yankees, since you're from New York? Or do you like the Mets?

i dont like either lol. i'm not a big baseball fan :rotfl:

 Sorry! Timmies is a nickname that Canadians give to the coffee and doughnut place, Tim Hortons. We are all obsessed with it. You can't go anywhere without seeing someone without a Timmies coffee and there is a Tim Hortons on every corner. It's insane! But their doughnuts...they're to die for.

What's one place in the world that you really want to visit?

ooohhhhh that makes sense

i gotta be honest, i would LOVE to visit London or NYC :) since i'm going to Orlando in 5 days :cloud9:

Pretty nice. Clear sky and it's about 1 degree celsius, thats about 34 in fahrenheit. Perfect t-shirt weather. ;)

What's your favourite restaurant?

We Have a place called Jeffs and there pizzas are awesome.
Do you have a McDonald's in your town?

...THAT'S NEARLY FREEZING. I do hope you're joking (;

I live in North Carolina, if y'all didn't know.

another brit here, represeeeeeeeeeeent! i'm from essex, about 30 minutes from london.

Heres a question for everyone!

What is you're favourite sports team and have you ever seen them play (live not on tv)

Mine is Leeds United Football(soccer) I have a season ticket so I watch them every week and I watch them away! I've seen them play at Wembley Stadium too.
RED SOX. yes! i have. on the 5th august :-)
A few times, actually. Haven't been there in a while though. The falls are really beautiful and there is some good entertainment like museums and casinos. A good place to spend a day or a night. And heres a fun fact, some people don't know that the Horseshoe Falls (the curved, bigger side of the falls) is actually Canadian while the smaller of the falls is American. ;)

If you could live anywhere else in Britain, where would you live?
i actually have no idea! i loveeee living in essex, it's great here. we have countryside and towns and loads of places for shopping and really good public transportation links, and we're really close to london, so a lot of people that work in the city live in the towns in essex :-)

YES! I haven't have it in such a long time but it is so addictive...and fattening. :confused3

Have you ever been to Glasgow? I was there last year to visit my grandparents and cousins since my dad grew up there. :)

I've not. I don't think I've been further north than Cambridge, and I might be remembering wrong...

Here's a general question for everyone. Where is the furthest place you've ever been from home?

Hmm...I couldn't really say. I haven't really travelled around Canada (sad, I know). British Columbia looks gorgeous. But from the places I've been...northern Ontario is beautiful. I went to my friend's dad's cottage for a weekend and it was amazing. The cottage was right on the lake and surrounded by huge trees! We went out on the boat at night on the lake and I'd just lay on my back and stare up at the clear sky. You could see millions of stars and it was completely silent. Pure bliss. The wilderness in Canada is absolutely beautiful.

Washington as in the state? Does it rain as much as everyone says it does?

That just sounds completely beautiful :goodvibes I claim to be secretly Canadian haha. I would have to say British Columbia is extremely beautiful that's the only province I've ever been to.

And yes Washington as in the state. It really depends on the time of the year, currently yes it does rain as much as everyone says it does. I'm so sick of this weather, I hate the rain! But today we actually have beautiful spring weather here it makes me smile :)

Toronto, Canada... to go see a Blue Jays vs Yankees game :D

Hmm.. Is barbeque as good as everyone says it is there?

YES. If you get it the traditional way. I think we're the only Southern state where people go North-Eastern-y and put vinegar on their BBQ. It's disgusting, and I don't do it xD But our traditional BBQ is really good :-)

:rotfl2: You've obviously never been in a Canadian winter.

We Have a place called Jeffs and there pizzas are awesome.
Do you have a McDonald's in your town?

Um...yes. We must have about five in just my town. McDonalds is an international company. They're all over Canada.

What's your favourite class in school? :)

That's a hard question. There are so many different accents! I'd say any of the accents within the Commonwealth. I'm partial to Scottish accents and New Zealand. I also love the Indian accent (it almost sounds like a song whenever they talk!) and South African. I could go on forever with this question!

It would have to be band class.
Do you play an instrument?

Do you play an instrument?

I did. I played the flute in elementary school, but I was awful. My best instrument is my voice...I'm not bad on the drums, but that may be because I got my Daddy's drummer blood in my veins. :rotfl:

If you could live in any other country other than the US, where would you want to live?

That reminds me. I asked a friend in the past week whether I sounded posh, and she said I sounded well spoken, but not posh. Then again, she's from the same area as I am, so that might mean something...
