Mirrors my own!

All I would add to it is:

lime green ribbon to wear so your fellow DISers can spot you and say hi!

Your own coffee and/or travel coffee maker - depending on where you are staying they may provide the coffee maker - but charge a small fortune for each package of coffee you use OR they don't provide one and if you are like me - I need a cup or two BEFORE I am ready to walk to the food court and fill up my refillable mug! LOL

We also bring a small atomic clock - travel size. It sets itself from radio signals and you just change what timezone you are in and VOILA - instant VERY ACCURATE time. This is particularly important for us because we always travel there during the first week of April and the time changes to Daylight savings while we are there... wouldn't want to be late for anything!

Extra glasses and contact lenses.

Swim goggles for the pools and waterparks - particularly if you are a contact lens wearer like I am... you will enjoy the waterslides MUCH more if you do not have water splashed in your soft contacts and they are floating around in your eye!

That's about all (for now!). Sorry, I get carried away. <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz">

As previously stated, make sure and pack bandaids.
Although I was very careful and made lists of what to pack I mistakenly left the bandaids at home (they were on my list).

We needed them on two occasions and were not close to first aid. They were not very easy to find (to buy)at the parks. Maybe we were not looking in the right places but, I know next time I will make sure and have a few with me.

Two things I thought of that I didn't see, a first aid kit and one eyeglass repair kit, (even if only for your sunglasses). Everyone talks about moleskin, water bottles (we bought brita filtered water bottles), and I found this sanispray at walmart to spray on toilet seats. There are lots on travel items in the trial size aisle of any chain store like small TP rolls, (you never know), antibacterial lotion and wipes, ect. Ponchos and umbrellas, cameras, film and batteries. I even read somewhere that they pack a travel size microwave, I guess it just depends on what you need. I've been picking things up along the way that you find and think will be helpful. A medicine bag filled with pain relievers, allergy medicine, bug bite and sun relief sprays, and tummy pills. Good sunscreen and a chapstick with sunscreen. A good bug repellant. ect. Good Luck!

The lime green ribbon is something folks who hang out on these DIS discussion boards wear while at WDW - so we can spot each other and say hi / introduce ourselves. If you prefer to remain anonymous - just pass on doing it. Otherwise, bring some along and let everyone know where you hang - and let us meet you if we are there at the same time! Lime green is an awful color choice - but is the "official" color of the DIS.

Also, extra new toothbrushes and contact cases (if you drop or lose one) thorlo sox, hats and visors for everyone. Avon has a nice small sunblock stick, I like. Quarters for tolls/vending machines.

I like the disinfectant spray for toilet seats. Disney also has the paper seat covers in all the parks which I think is one of their best moves! I also stick in my bag a small (self-contained type) candle with a box of matches--that way I'm assured of a good smell in my room.

I always pack a simple sewing kit, needle, thread an extra button or two and some safety pins.

I always pack a small flashlight. I get up earlier than everyone else and I can get around the room without waking them up. And have you ever been in a hotel room when lights go out? You'll never leave home without one after that.

How about a book to read on the plane and at the pool?

Thanks for all the great ideas and items mentioned. I wouldn't have thought of band-aids but I certainly wouldn't want to waste Disney Time looking for the first aid station. I'm off to pack!
