What time will the bus have us back to our resort?

For those of you that have taken the disney bus back to WDW after a cruise: What time did you get back to your resort?

We are staying at Old Key West resort and were just wondering what time we could expect to be there, as we have friends that want to meet up with us once we get back from the cruise.

About an hour and a half after you clear customs. (How long it takes to get through customs depends on how long the line is.) The hour and a half could be a little shorter if you are getting on a fairly full bus and leave pretty quickly and/or if you are the first stop. It might be a little longer if you are one of the first people on a bus and have to wait for it to fill or if there are multiple stops before your resort (the busses usually only stop at 3-4 resorts).

You could always text or call your friends once the bus leaves port so you'll have a better idea of what time to meet up with them. What time you arrive at OKW depends on what time you disembark the ship, everyone has to be off between 9-9:30. So the latest is usually around 11:30.

It really depends on what time you get off the ship. If you are one of the "early birds" who get off as soon as the big doors open, you could be there as early as 9. On the other hand, you could choose to remain on the ship till 9, in which time you may not arrive till noon (LONG story, longer wait!)

Personal suggestion--we have had 2 bad experiences with waiting till 9 or nearly 9. In one case we were put on a bus and overheard the driver "discussing" with the CM in charge that he now needed to stop at 6 different resorts! (normal is 3) CM basically told him to "just do it." The other was our last trip. We were off at 8:45 and outside at the podium before 9, went to CM, who suggested that we "just wait over there for a few minutes." For a while, more people were joining us in waiting, and people were gradually being removed from the waiting group and put on a bus. Ummmm....45 minutes later, I was not pleased. After I complained, we were put on a small Mears van with 4 other guests for our ride to Saratoga Springs. 2 got off at Old Key West, and 4 of us went to Saratoga.
