What time should we get to DC by? In September on a Saturday?

What time should we plan to have lunch to avoid any lines?

Can you get seconds if they kids are still hungry?

Thank you for your help.

Try to arrive between 7 and 7:30 am. That *should* get you a fairly early dolphin swim time, which is important at that time of year as afternoon thunderstorms are a pretty regular occurence. Just remember that the water features of the park don't open until 9 am, so between your arrival and 9 you will be enjoying a leisurely breakfast, getting "suited up" in wetsuits and/or vests, getting your snorkel bag, etc. Sometimes they will have animal encounters for guests as they wait as well.

Eating lunch before 11:30 or after 1:30 should avoid the worst of the "crowds". That said, admission is limited so crowds really aren't a huge issue. We have eaten at high noon on past visits and had no problem getting a table.

Kids can get seconds, thirds, fourths, or as much as they want.
