What time on black Friday?

What time should I be at Target on Black Friday to get the good stuff? I've heard of people getting there at 4:00 am. What time do they open and do you really need to get there that early? I am a novice to black Friday and would appreciate any advice.

Our Targets here in Saint Louis don't start getting a line until about 5am (they open at 6am). We'll be lining up at Sears at 3:30am (they open at 5am), then swinging by Target once we finish. Good luck!
