what ride have you gotten stuck on???

When I was in high school I got stuck on the subs in DL - it was horribly miserable hot and stuffy and it seemed like forever until they got us out - I have no idea exactly how long it actually was though as it was over 25 years ago though.

Spaceship Earth and Haunted Mantion are the most common for me. Seems like every trip, and at the same spot too.

Splash Mountain. We were stuck for about 30 minutes last year when they lost all power to the ride. We had to be pulled by rope over to the walkway so we could exit our log. The group behind us were so rude to the cm's that it made you cringe. They were talking @#&$% and just being plain rude. I had never seen anything like it at Disney. The cm's good not of been more helpful. They were great at how they delt with the power loss and the rude folks in the log behind us.

Test Track- it was so cool to walk through the inside, we got to walk through the hit/cold test area too :thumbsup2 We love when that happens!

Ellen's Energy Adventure more than once! Been pretty lucky so far with the other rides :thumbsup2

Journey into Imagination with Figment for about 20 mins., after 10 mins. we begged the CM to please turn off the music and they did. Ride finally continued.

We were stuck on universe of energy. It was really amazing to see everything in the lights.:thumbsup2

Oh let's see.

Snow White's Scary Adventures - This was decades ago, considering that it made my sister cry when we stopped and she's now in her mid 20s.
Splash Mountain - My first time on, we got stuck on one of the first asccents and heard a little too much of Br'er Frog.
Finding Nemo - This was not so bad. We stopped in front of the anglerfish scene and I got a better look at the arm the fearsome fishy is controlled by.
Toy Story Midway Mania - It throws your game a bit when the screens stop working briefly, but otherwise, no big deal.
Haunted Mansion - As many times as we ride this one, it's no surprise that we've been stuck once or twice. The worst was when we were stuck in the line without going anywhere for a good long while and the ride itself was not working well when we finally did get through.
Monorail - This was the absolute worst. Stuck for over ten inutes as the monorail kept lurching forward about five feet and stopping before eventually having to return to the MK station and try again. We were staying at the Poly. Clearly we should have walked.

to the people who got stuck on Carosel of progress-I am sooooo sorry. I accdentially rode it last year for the 1st time (thought we were getting on TTA) and I couldn't wait to get out.

We stalled on HM last year in the dining room area-I just kinda assumed they had to stall the belt for a handicap rider to board. Either way since we weren't moving we actually were able to get some decent photos.

We get stuck on the monorail alot! Our main recent ones were Spaceship Earth-it had taken all we had to convince my DD5 to go on this and wouldn't ya know it, one of the darkest places we sat for over 10 minutes. She rode with my dad so it didn't help that she didn't have her mother to cling to (or grandma) and also Toy Story-we were stuck in this one for about 20 minutes then let to the fast pass line to ride again or you could get a fast pass. We waited in the line, then wanted out but it was more of a hassle because everyone had sat down on the floor that we just decided to stick it out! That was miserable........

Last trip DH and I rode Test Track (one of our favs) and it kept stopping throughout the ride. We were never walked off, but it was a let down to stop and start over and over again. :rolleyes1

Just a good excuse to ride again!

I've gotten stuck for a little bit on a few rides, but on my last trip to WDW I got stuck on TOT.:scared1: Although it was brief, it was the creepiest thing ever.

Our elevator went through the ride like normal, dropped a bunch, landed at the bottom, the "warm welcome back..." scene played. At this point your elevator is supposed to roll back, turn to it side and then you exit. Well, we rolled back a bit, the lights dimmed, and then nothing. We. just. sat. there. In the dark. With a spooky ventriloquist dummy to my immediate right, staring into my soul.

A little girl in the row in front of me said "Are we in the Twilightzone now Mommy?" Everyone was all "Hello? Little help here!" and then another elevator dropped down in front of us. And we still sat there. We finally rolled further back then turned so we could exit. The castmember didn't say anything to us about it and we missed our photo!

It was only 5 minutes or so, just super creepy, due to the nature of the ride. That ride always gives me the heebie jeebies (heights/dropping) but I don't ever want that to happen again.

...I still managed to go on the ride 4 more times that trip though.:rotfl:

We had almost the same thing happen to us. I remember that creepy ventriloquist dummy next to me. It was like being frozen in a horror movie! Our elevator sat there for about 15 or 20 minutes then it moved backwards into a backstage area where you could see empty elevators sitting there in a service area or something. They told people they were not allowed to take any photos. Eventually we finished the ride (I think the part with the drops may have actually been longer than it was supposed to be and took place before getting stuck). When we left they gave us a fastpass for re-entry at anytime. Of course we were there when there were no crowds or lines so it wasn't really any help. But it was interesting (after the creepy part).

In one trip, I got stuck on the monorail, spaceship earth, haunted mansion, jungle cruise, AND space mountain! We also got stuck on Carosel of Progress... one of the animatronic's sprung a leak and they evacuated the building due to risk of electrocution!

Most of the stuckness was brief, but my dad and I were stuck on the incline (just out of the light tunnel) of space mountain for 45 minutes b/c someone dropped a bouncy ball on the track and the CM's had trouble finding it.

It was the end of EMH so they let us ride with the lights on. The situatoin kinda sucked, but the outcome was a nice ending. Plus the CM who kept us entertained was super sweet and fun to talk to.

POTC in Feb 2006, they were testing the new boats before the refurb, and our boat just got stuck as we were on the verge of a small drop (not sure exactly whereabouts), the CM's all came out looked at the boat, tried to shift it - with no luck. In the end they told us all to rock backwards and forwards to shift it, and in true Disney spirit we all clapped and cheered ourselves as we moved the boat over the drop - great fun!!:cool1::cool1:

On this one trip, we got stuck on a few rides. Test Track lasted about 10 minutes as well as RNRC. But, the longest was Space Mountain. We stopped and sat in our car for about 10 minutes. Then, all the lights came on, and then about 20 minutes after that, a CM came and walked us out. I rather not see that old track with the lights on personally. We did get fast passes for the wait, but we had to literally run to CRT not to miss our dinner ressies.

Here is my list over the years...

Pooh ride
Small World
Splash Mountain
Haunted Mansion
Monsters Inc Laugh Floor...shut down in middle of performance and had to wait for doors to open.

there is more just can't think of all the names....like Spaceship Earth , and the ride with Ellen..about Energy on Earth.

We got stuck on Test Track. There was a thunderstorm rolling in and we were then next car to go out the big doors onto the outdoor track when suddenly we stopped. We wait in the car for about 20 min. until the storm passed but it never did. Finally they turned on all the lights inside the ride and was escorted by a CM out of the building. It was cool to get out and walk around inside of test track.

Same exact thing happened to us...also got stuck on Spaceship Earth for a good 30 minutes on the way down, so we sat there backwards all that time. It was tough on the back because those seats feel pretty hard when all your weight is on them backwards for 30 minutes.

In both cases, we got FPs, but I don't remember what they were for.

I got stuck on Splash Mountain for about 10 minutes, right as we were about to go over the drop. :upsidedow It wasn't too bad. Just interesting. All the lights went off & finally came back on part of the way & they released us

We got stuck on Soarin'. It was our first time on it, and we sat in the seats for 20-30 minutes before they got us moving and started the show.

Over the years I have been stuck on Its A Small World, Peter Pan, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mr. Toad's Wide Ride, Snow White, Tower of Terror, Rockin RollerCoaster, Malestrom, Test Track. By far the longest amount of time stuck was on IASM (close to 2 hours back in 1984) - the scariest was on Tower of Terror. We sat for a few minutes after they announced that the ride had stopped then we went forward about 5 feet and through part of the drop sequence - all with the lights on!!! Then we finally stopped and waited for about 15 minutes before the doors opened and we could finally leave.
