What is the most beautiful beach on St. Thomas?

What do you think, or have heard, is the most beautiful beach on St. Thomas? Thanks for your opinion!

Taking a water taxi to St John.....Trunk Bay!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely breathtaking

Trunk Bay made the Travel Channel's 10 Best list as the most Scenic Beach in the World.

I don't have a lot to compare it to (no beaches in North Texas) but it was absolutely breathtaking.

If you want a short ferry ride I recommend Trunk Bay. It is the most beautiful beach I have ever been. Great wves to play in and awesome snorkeling.

If you want a short but very scenic taxi ride, I recommend Megans Bay. The taxi takes you to over the top of the hill seperating St. Thomas and if you ask they will stop and let you take pictures. It is an incredible sight. Also Megans Bay has chairs and floats to rent, bathrooms and food/drinks(expensive though). The water is calm and the beach is beautiful.

Maegens bay made the National Geographic list for best beaches in the world. If you want small beautiful local feel try Cokie beach. Good snorkeling, friendly atmosphere and not crowded!

There are several beaches along the shore before and after Trunk Bay.

Just ask a taxi driver to take you to one, and ask him to come back and pick you up at the appointed time. Or, you could always flag one down (Really!)

IMO, Trunk is too commercial. I like the one just before you get to Trunk, but I can't remember the name!

Don't forget Sapphire Beach....we liked that beach much better than Megans Bay.....the latter had many shady looking people walking around scoping out people's belongings. Didn't feel that comfortable at Megans Bay.

I also did not like Magen's Bay Beach. But it was on a cloudy day and there is no way that any beach on St. Thomas can compare to the ST. John Beaches.

I agree on the commercialism & crowds too. Maybe Hawksnest Beach that you remember. It was much more secluded and just as beautiful as Trunk.

When I was at Trunk Bay...DCL people were the only people there....as if they are slotted a certain time.....There were people coming as we were leaving.
