Reading the Navigator, I noticed that they have a lot of Bingo games and they say that there are a lot of cash prizes. So I was wondering how much people usually win at these games?

well looking at the Navigator right now it says on one of them, "we give thousands of dollars away each cruise" ?? :confused3

I was on the Wonder in Jan. and won a total of 3,400.00. :cool1:
The first time I won, I won 69.00 in one of the small games. I think they gave me an onboard credit for that but I really can't remember. Then I won the big jackpot in the end which was 3340.00 :cool1: :cool1: I didn't even have to split it with anyone.
An officer took me to the front desk and counted out 33- $100 bills and sent me on my happy way. I had never won anything before and now I can never say that again!

That was my first cruise ever and I decided "Who needs a casino?"!! And booked another Disney for 2006.

cool :cool1: how much did you spend to win?

Well, in the final game, DH and I each bought a card for $35 and then you could buy a second card for just the final blackout round for I think $25 each. So a total of $120 for both of us. ( I think, it's been awhile). During that final round, I had 12 total game cards to play and I remember being so stressed, that I said I didn't care who won, I just wanted it to be over. Next time I will only play the 6 game cards that come with the original package and not buy the extra. It wore me out, but was worth it!

The longer the cruise the larger the jackpot. The 10 day Christmas Cruise had a jackpot of $9000+ which DD won. And they pay it all in CASH.

If I won a big jackpot i would take that cash and go book another cruise while I was on the ship.

Congrats to the winners :goodvibes

Dh and I won $200.00 on the Wonder in March. You could take the cash or put it towards the bill. I chose to put it towards our bill. We were one number away from winning $3600.00 more. Oh well! It was fun to stand up and yell "Show me the money!"

Congrats to all of those who have won.......

Now for the other side.....

I've been on 6 DCL cruises.....one 4 night at the beginning, one 3 night, and 4 seven nights. I have played Bingo every session on each cruise and...

HAVE NEVER WON ANYTHING...NOT ONE CENT....NOT ONE DOOR PRIZE...NADA...NOTHING....NONE..... :confused3

On one cruise, I even tried to bribe the BINGO KING/QUEEN with chicken nuggets and pizza....just for a door prize....that didn't even work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think maybe my Bingo days are over...............until the next cruise..... :smooth:

I was on the April 23rd Western 7 day cruise. I only played on the last day but my wife played a few times. The snowball jackpot got bigger as the week went on. To win up until the last game of the cruise you had to have a full card bingo within a specified number of numbers. As the week progresses the minimum number of numbers in which to have bingo gets larger. The last day on my cruise, someone won something like $5,700. Other winners that day included amounts like $300, $800, etc.

The prize for our 7 day cruise was over $7,000. We didn't win, but someone had a great day.

Holy Cow!!!!! :earseek: I never thought you could win that much money!!! We are going to be at each and every Bingo game on our cruise!!!! Wooohoooo!!!! :cool1: :cheer2:

Fairytale...

Don't forget....you might wind up just like me..................... lol

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have a Wonderful time... :bride:
Been on 4 - 7 nighters, and never one either...I find it fun, if you can tolerate the YA BABY over and over and over......I loved it, it does add up quickly though, and at the family pool, they have bingo for fun...Always try to offer yourself as a volunteer to check the numbers, whatever. They give away nice souvenirs...

Oh well..Maybe next time... :cool1: :cool1:

I won $0 the 1st year, $1500 the 2nd year, and $0 the third year. It was way cool. I put half down for another cruise, and bought into DVC with the other half!!!

dumbo first timer question...how much does it cost to play bingo? how many people are in there yelling and screaming?
