We are going to be arriving the day before the cruise and are interested in staying at a hotel that offers park and cruise at the hotel. Can someone recommend a hotel to stay that is close to the port?

The Residence Inn offers parking too. it is really close to the port.. and a great hot breakfast in the am.

The three closest are the Residence Inn, Comfort Inn and Suites, and Radisson.

However...in some respects you get what you pay for. The Radisson charges for parking in a lot that is neither fenced nor lighted. The company Park And Cruise charges about the same price for a fenced, locked lot.

Check CURRENT charges and deals at the hotels--Radisson used to be free, now charges. Some hotels offer free parking but charge for shuttle, some offer a package with parking, shuttle, and breakfast. Be sure you are comparing "apples to apples."

And I think Residence Inn is the nicest.

The closest hotel at PC is Country Inn and Suites, it is right over the bridge and the very first hotel. So a whole 5 minute ride to the Port:cool1:

It does have a Park and Cruise rate with its own shuttle. Have stayed there twice and been very happy with the rooms and shuttle service. Will likely stay there again when we book for 2014.

We stayed at the Residence Inn and was very pleased with it. We originally had booked a park/cruise with them but cancelled because we had early check-in at DCL (11-1130) and Residence Inn told us their first shuttle didn't run until 11. We were a party of 5 with my older in-laws with us and lots of luggage (they overpack and have old luggage!) and I knew I'd just be stressed out! So we changed to room only, had our hot breakfast and leisurely packed up the car and drove to Park N Cruise where we parked. Price worked out to be about the same and I felt much less stressed out!

If you don't have a car to worry with, I'm sure the shuttle would be fine.

I am a little confused. If you are coming in early do you need a hotel room too? Not just a park and cruise. We stayed at the Hampton and loved it. They also offered park and cruise but we did the snooze and cruise. We liked the beach access from the Hampton as well as the breakfast. The shuttle is included. Very nice little package.

Most of the hotels in cocoa beach are pretty close to each other. Saying at the Raddisson would put you maybe 5 minutes closer than the Hampton.

Ron Jon's also offers park and cruise. From I can tell, there is no extra charge. :)

If you come to the port the night before your cruise then you need a hotel room. And i imagine all the hotels work it the same, you can't just park the car in their lot for the duration of your cruise without first renting a room. They need spaces available for guests who don't come to cruise, since there are actually other things to do in Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral.

We used the Radisson in 2010 for our 7 night cruise on the magic. It was a nice hotel and worked out great. Of coarse that was when it was free to park and a free shuttle.

At least one of the hotels (I BELIEVE the Radisson) does offer a park and cruise plan. A hotel room does not need to be booked.

we use the residence inn too. It's not much more to add the park and cruise to the package and it includes a shuttle ticket for 2. We plan on dropping off luggage and people at the port then the guys will drive the cars back to RI and take the shuttle to the port. Coming back, we'll send the guys to retrieve the cars and have them pick up us and the luggage.

Which hotels offer the discounted parking at the cruise terminal?

Does anyone know if there is a park and cruise in LA?.. Doing the Pixar cruise in a few weeks... Trying to find a safe spot to park the car. Not spending the night, unless it's cheaper and safer to leave the car than the port.

The port has a parking garage and from what I have heard it is safe and only $12 a night. Do a google search on San Pedro Port Parking and you will find it.

I'm also curious. I know Days Inn/ Cocoa Beach issues a voucher for 40% off parking at the port/terminal. Do other hotels offer this discount?
