What happens if you change hotels, and the cost is less?

Hi-We paid for our room at RP in full (the hospitality suite), if we change to a less expensive room, how does Universal handle that extra $ that was paid-does it go back on the credit card? Do they hold it as a credit, was wondering if you had an option, or it just automatically went back on the card.

it's your request.

they usually ask if they can apply it to your hotel account as the money can be used by room charging while you are in the parks during your stay.

that is what i always do.
i prefer to carry a balance on my account and use it for dining in the parks and additional purchases
when i check out of the hotel, then i square it away for any remainder to be issued to the cc



or you can request it to be credited back to your credit card now.
